Locals recommended the Fredericton Inn and they were right.

Check-in was smooth, the rooms were very quiet , reasonably priced and well furnished with everything the guest might need.

(I was impressed enough with what was offered in each room to take notes for ways to improve OUR Inn...)

We stayed here recently - visiting family. The rooms were large, well furnished and clean, the bathroom was spotless with nice shampoo etc. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
We certainly would stay here again.

The only thing good about this hotel, was that it was central to everything including the hospital , malls and restaurants.
The building itself reeked of cigarette smoke - our hallway especially ,and we had a non-smoking room.
The housekeeping was OK, beds clean and sleepable, but we had a coffee maker in our room with no coffee, tea,etc or even cups. We did not even have a mini-fridge. The phone was located on the other side of the room from the beds and the line was awful to make a call on.
You could hear everybody in the rooms all around you, so privacy was not great.
The coffee shop was quite good, however, although breakfast was the only meal we ate there.
The pool and hot tub were OK, but hot water seemed to be an issue and a warm bath was the best one could expect.
I would try the Delta next time.

We stayed at the Fredericton Inn on our way back from Nova Scotia. We had two small children, ourselves and our dog.
We were given a lower floor room opening onto a courtyard for doggie relief. All this came at a cost of 10.00 for the dog and 10.00 for the kids. We were asked to scoop after the dog but the baggie supply was empty. Next we were off to the pool for some R&R. The indoor pool was freezing cold with the added bonus of an electrical extension cord laying beside the pool. We stayed briefly and went on our way. In the morning we realized that we had a coffee maker but NO coffee and our 150.00 room didn't even entitle us to continental breakfast. I'm sure there are lots of cheaper places to stay with more hospitality and more attention to safety.
