“Nice river view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Beautiful river view from the outdoor patio and cutesy tiki shelters to get you out of the sun.

Service was pretty good but the lunch experience was a once only trial. The corned beef sandwich came with a rolled ball of corned beef that made for a baloney sandwich comparison instead of a nicely layered pile of meat.

Soft drinks are now served in bottles which is kind of retro but pretty tacky.

Good summertime spot to visit but this stop was enough for this year.

“River View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

Restaurant and staff are great. We were seated inside with a view of the river. Service was friendly and quick. Servers checked frequently to see how everything was. Greek ribs were excellent as were all the pasta dishes. A good evening, will definately return.

“Wings and a View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Stopped in here for wings night on Tuesday and got a table on the patio overlooking the river. Not used to people smoking on a restaurant patio anymore but it was minimal. As there were only two of us we couldn't get an empty Tiki or fire pit table but we enjoyed the time regardless. Lemon pepper wings were really good and a good size.

“Wonderful Overall Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

After seeing the name on the sign and the front of the restaurant, I thought we'd grab a quick burger after we settled into the Best Western next door. I was immediately surprised when we walked in the door as it was beautiful. We asked to sit outside and we were seated in a Tiki Hut and there was live music. I can't hardly remember what we ate because the atmosphere was so incredible compared to what we were expecting. I do recall that there was a lot of food and it was very, very good, all five of us enjoyed our meals and the price was very reasonable. They had live music that night and this restaurant turned out to be one of the nicer surprises that we've had on a vacation. If you are there in the summer, this restaurant is a must as sitting outside was a wonderful beachy experience.

“Disaster”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

The first and last time we will visit this place again. We had never been so decided to visit on a Friday night for some drinks and supper. The only good part was our arrival.......as we drove up the parking lot was full and a gentleman that was outside guided us towards the pier where there was more parking.
It all goes down hill from here.........We walked in the doors and there was two girls standing there - never said good evening or anything. It was simply "how many?" we responded then she said "follow me". She showed us to our table then left.
So we sat, and we sat and sat some more with nobody coming over to acknowledge us or see if we want drinks or anything ? Then a couple of woman were seated in the empty table beside us and a waitress came over to them within a couple of minutes and asked them if they would like anything to drink to start etc., The same waitress then happened to see us and finally came over so we could order drinks.
We were given menus to browse........I noticed a bunch of wee little red ants on the menus and on our table. They seemed to be coming from the menus so I don't know if these menus were outside on the patio or possibly dried booze or food on them that attracted the same???
We had a few drinks then ordered our meals. We both started with soup and it was brought to us by a young gentleman from the back. We literally and no imagination had about 3 tablespoons of soup when the same guy comes back with our supper orders.......he says "oops I'm sorry" and lays it all down on the table??????Seriously!!! So we wanted to relax and now we felt rushed so our food would not get hold plus there was absolutely no room on the table trying to eat with all this crap around!!
Whatever - not the end of the world I guess. The food was o.k. - nothing marvelous or anything. The vegetables I had were cooked perfectly.
We were done with our plates and asked the waitress if we could see a dessert menu - we were planning on also ordering some more drinks when she returned................well no word of a lie she never returned to our table with the dessert menu and we sat there ( no exaggeration ) for probably 15 minutes with empty drinks also.
I finally got her attention and simply told her to bring us our bill - I could not wait to get out of there. What a waste of a evening out for dinner - I will spend my money elsewhere that actually provides service!!!!
