“Good but by no means pizza heaven. Nice change from ordinary but pricey as heck”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

I have had pizza from the Pizza Oven twice now. Both times the pizza was good.

The whole you pay a lot for our pizza because we use the best quality ingredients is talked up big time. Honestly I don't really taste the extra $10-$15 a pizza.

I can't say anything bad other than the price just not justify the pizza's you get.

I basically support them because they are close to my house and I like to support the local little guy vs the big chain pizza joints.

For sure worth a try but be prepared for sticker shock. It's Mercedes priced but Volkswagen quality.

“Quite Surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Wasn't expecting this pizza to be so good. Had the thin and regular crust. Both very tasty. The sauce has a great taste and they don't skimp on the cheese.

“Winnipeg's Second Pizza Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2012

Only the second pizza in Winnipeg worth the effort to write about. For those who remember the old 'Flame Pizza' on Henderson Highway, The Pizza Oven is the reincarnation. Nice crisp on the outer crust and the very unique sauce make this a worthwhile eating option. The restaurant is pickup and delivery only and is located in the basement of the Norvilla Hotel. Always fun to wait at reception in the late evening and people watch at the entrance to the beverage room. Cannot comment on the delivery service as I am out of their area.
