“Great for everyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2012

The building itself is beautiful! The history given in the tours is very interesting and it's not pure history and fact rambling, there is myth and superstition involved which makes it fun for everyone! There were some crazy people building things back in the day!
Another nice perk is that you can walk along the river the the forks from right behind the Legislative building as well!

“Hermetic Code”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2012

When can I go again? From the first moment Frank starts speaking his school boy enthusiasm for sharing the secrets to the buried treasure draw you in for an exciting and entertaining 1 1/2 hours … in a legislative building - how can that be? Secrets hidden in plain sight will be revealed and leave you wanting to return … it did for me and I did not like history (until tonight) … a must attend for everyone. Thank you Frank for sharing this passion!!

“We were surprised, enlightened, and delighted by this wonderful tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

We experienced the Hermetic Code Tour in early October 2011. The trip starts outside with a fascinating history of the mysterious creatures that populate the roof: the two Sphinxes, strangely hidden from view; the Golden Boy; and other elements. We also learned how the original grand plans for the legislature and other civic structures were stymied by a lack of funds, and how the architect persevered despite this setback.

When the tour moves inside the Legislative building, Mr. Albo begins to tie the internal elements, including a secret room accessible to only a select few, to those silent creatures on the roof. There's a surprise at the end, one that will leave you gasping in astonishment, and eager to learn more about this fascinating building and its secret history.

In less skilled hands, this tour could easily have been overwhelming. With his deep knowledge and obvious enthusiasm for his subject, Mr. Albo makes it both enlightening and entertaining. Highly recommended!

“The most interesting thing in Winnipeg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2011

I have lived in this city my entire life, over 30 years, and I this is _the_most_ interesting thing that I have seen or done. Frank is amazing and _so_ passionate that he vibrates when telling the story. If you are visiting or live here, even if you've done the "official" tour, I would highly recommend doing this tour.
