Had a nice stay here. The hotel is fairly new and it's close to the airport and Wal-Mart is right next door. Check in was very fast. The room was clean and I was surprised that they had a bath robe in the closet. This is the first Fairfield to date that I've been to that has robes. Normally I'd see bath robes at a Marriott Hotel or JW not the lower category with the Marriott chain. The room has the typical Fairfield decor. The TV was pretty big and the bathroom was large too. It had a large shower only which I didn't mind coz I rarely have time to take baths anyway.

Internet was fast and the free breakfast was great. Given all the amenities, value and location and great service,I'll definitely stay here again.

Good location for a quick business trip into Winnipeg. Located miday between the Airport and Downtown (10 minutes to either location via Hotel Shuttle). A relatively new Fairfield (2 years old), experienced a few minor issues. Be congizent that the room rate can change vary quite a bit between the weekend and weekday (was not told this at check in).

Breakfast is fairly decent and complimentary. Lots of restaurant and shopping options nearby. As with many Winnipeg Hotels there are outlets to "plug in your car" during the winter months if you get a rental so equipped with a battery or engine oil heater (can mean the difference between starting in the early AM or not). The rooms are plain, but decent.

Large, open breakfast area that is usefull to spread out and work later in the day. ATM on site (useful for getting Canadian currency). The "market" or on site pantry has a very limited selection. Without having a restaurant on site, the Hotel is very accommodating with the Shuttle and will take you to many local sights/restaurants.

The hotel borders a rail line so be sure to ask for a room on the other side away from the line. I am a light sleeper and was not disturbed by nightime train traffic, if any occured over several days.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the opposite side away from the rail line

Booked for an early flight to BC.Hotel is located within 10 minutes to airport. |has all the necessary services, although no restaurant, Breakfast is standard fare. Check-in was quick and professionally handled. very pleasant. Room was clean and ready when we arrived, no problems.
I think the hotel is about 18 month old and it still appears new. Didn't use business center but it looked very good.
Again very close to airport so very convenient

This hotel is a couple of miles from Winnipeg international airport and is easy to drive to, or the hotel shuttle bus can come and collect you within 10mins of you getting into the departures lounge.

Check-in was nice and efficient, with the room key handed over within a couple of minutes. The lobby was clean and tidy, and also housed a couple of PCs, a complimentary tea/coffee station, a small section where you could pick up some nibbles or toiletries.

The double queen room on the 4th floor, and was nice and clean, as was the bathroom. Aside from that, it was a typical hotel room – nothing special. Beds were comfortable and reception handed out a access code for the wifi, so that was complimentary as had a decent speed and stability. The worst thing about the room was the air conditioning – when it was running it was very noisy, and even when you turned it off at the wall, every 20mins or so the unit would burst into life, thrum away for a few minutes and then clunk to a stop.

Breakfast in complimentary and is held just off the back of the lobby. There is a small selection of hot food (boiled/scrambled egg and sausages) a few cereals and some muffins/breads and a machine that would dispense orange/apple juice. It’s all edible, but at the more basic end of what a hotel can offer for breakfast. The dining area is also fairly small and finding a free table can be challenging at times.

There isn’t any option for easting at the hotel other than breakfast, but within a few minutes drive there are a load of strip malls with eateries on them, so this hotel really is just an upscale B&B. The hotel minivan will drop off and pick you up within its 5km radius, and they’ll give you more than enough restaurants to choose from.

The hotel is surrounded on three sides by construction work, and about the only reason there isn’t any going any on the fourth side is that’s where the railway tracks are. This makes for a reasonable amount of noise during the day, and periodically you’ll hear the freight trains going past at night. There are a number of road/rail crossings in Winnipeg so the trains regularly sound their horns, so if you’re a light sleeper, request a room at the front of the hotel. All of the building work also means the access road to the hotel is becoming a bit of a quagmire now the snow in beginning to melt during the day, and it looks as if the construction isn’t going to end any time soon.

Thank you for your informative and constructive feedback, we were pleased to read that you enjoyed the services that the hotel provides; we try to accommodate the fact that the Fairfield brand is a limited service, lower priced hotel by providing the services that enable our guests to find everything that they need locally, by utilising our 24hr complimentary service shuttle.

Luckily the construction work that is happening, is only a temporary issue, as we are adding further suites to accommodate the demand, and extending the breakfast seating area so that seating is no longer the issue that you highlighted, but the work is unobtrusive and noise is restricted to between 10.00am and 4pm to avoid guest discomfort.

This hotel is just what the doctor ordered! It has everything you would ever want and need in a hotel stay....beautiful rooms, pool and vacuzzi, laundry room, free hot breakfast, a shuttle that takes you to any place within a 5 mile radius ( I believe). The only thing missing is a restaurant but you can easily get food delivered or get the shuttle to drop you off and pick you up if you wanted to go out for dinner. The staff is friendly, competent and efficient. I would like to give special recognition to Patricia at the reception desk! She truly is an asset to this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in Winnipeg over the past 10 years, but I have found my new home away from home! Many thanks and keep up the good work!

Stayed at this hotel for a girls getaway to a Jets game in February 2013. I am an avid traveller and this hotel provided the best service I have ever received! Patricia at the front desk was unbelievably helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle within 5km of the hotel and will pick you up. It was unbelievable. They accomodated us with an early check in which was very much appreciated. I literally cannot say enough good things about this property. Way to go, you guys truly set the bar in the hotel industry!!

This Inn & Suites was absolutely beautiful. The staff were all very friendly - always made sure to say hello to you and making sure everything was good. The room was just amazing, and very clean and super quiet! The little elephant towel guy was great, and the swan towels were so pretty. Did actually go for a swim but the pool area looked great! Then in the morning the free breakfast was huge, so much to choose from, didn't know where to start. Would for sure go back!
