“Nice hotel and friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

I stayed at the Delta for one night on a business trip. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has been recently renovated and the lobby is modern and stylish. My room was nicely decorated and very clean, with new bathroom fixtures. Lots of big fluffy pillows on the bed. I didn't hear any noise from the hallway or from outside. The Wi-fi was easy to connect to. Overall a very comfortable stay.

I have stayed at the Delta many times over the past 6 years and am impressed with the recent renovations. The newer rooms have internet plugs and outlets for laptops. The new TV takes up much less space than the old armoire type cabinet. Make sure you don't need a snack after 11:00 when the snack shop closes as there are no vending machines and no local variety stores. Breakfast at the restaurant is not too bad. There are many taxis serving the front door and it costs 16-19$ to get to the airport. The staff are very helpful.

Room Tip: 3rd has ugly balcony. Also no stairs to lobby for those looking to get in shape. Only stairs exit...

I stayed in the middle of a boil water advisory in Winnipeg. All of the staff was extremely helpful and well prepared to handle the issue. The room was great, the room service food was excellent and delivered quickly. This was not my first time at the Delta Winnipeg and it won't be my last.

Room Tip: When booking online you can choose your floor and your room's distance from the elevator to cut...

We had originally booked another hotel downtown. Stayed there for 6 hours and then we were done. Called Delta at 7am expecting them to be sold out. Not only did they find us a room, they cleaned it and invited us to come over immediately. So by 7:30am we were nestled in a comfy, clean room finally getting some sleep. It's times like these that make a business really able to shine or disappoint. They definitely went the extra mile, oops kilometer!!!

I just returned from spending the weekend at this hotel. The staff are professional, helpful and super friendly.

My room, on the 17th floor, had the most comfortable King size bed I've slept in for quite some time. The bathroom had plenty of room and a great shower. Also had a small fridge which was very convenient. The balcony provided some great sunset views. I was also able to buy a couple of their king sized pillows to take home with me....loved them.

The hotel itself is about a 10-15 minute walk to The Forks. Food Truck Alley was awesome ! There is a small strip mall right next to the hotel with a Rexall Pharmacy if you happen to need anything. Elephant and Castle Restaurant is also connected to the hotel. Good pub food and super friendly staff. They have an indoor pool & hot tub, an outdoor pool with a large deck and loungers, as well as a great fitness area. Free wifi works very well.

One thing that's always important to me when I stay at a hotel is the quality of my sleep. The room had great black-out curtains and the entire time I was there I hardly heard a single sound in the hallway or from other guests.

Most definitely would recommend this hotel !

Overzealous security staff. Security racially profiled young woman and forcibly ejected her from public space into sub-zero temperatures. Front desk made no attempt to stop security staff or to assist woman. Hotel management condones behaviour.

I was pleasantly surprised by how professional and courteous the staff are at the Delta Winnipeg, especially Marc who greets you outside. He is a true gentleman.

The check-in was very quick and efficient. The room was ready when I arrived which is always great.

The room had a very comfortable king sized bed. The work station set up is brilliant. They have RJ-45 internet cable ready, hdmi for your computer or game console ready and some other cables all ready to use. I love it!

The room was clean and spacious.

There is one thing though, I wish I had been offered the "green" program where I forfeit getting clean linens and towels everyday in exchange for $5 coupons to use at their in house restaurant Blaze.

Also I don't quite understand why they have HD televisions in the rooms when the cable feed they have is not HD? But this is trivial to me.

Excellent place to stay while in Winnipeg, will stay again for sure.

Thanks for the thorough and thoughtful feedback. We love that you're enjoying the changes we have made.

We are working towards upgrading our in-room entertainment systems which will include HD feeds in the future. Stay connected as we share more information as it becomes available.

I apologize that you were not offered the option to partake in our new GREENstay program. It's a great program for those wishing to forego regular room servicing and laundry, and we reward you with coupons, miles, or by planting a tree on your behalf. I will be sure to address this with our team to ensure they are offering this fantastic option to all guests. Thanks for mentioning our miss on this.

We are thrilled to know you had a great stay and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
