This delightful restaurant offers great food and friendly service for reasonable pricing. Both our appetizers – the Carrot Bisque and Winter Greens Salad with Roasted Beets - were delicious. The "fall off your fork" Slow-braised Lamb Shank was amazing and included a real demi-glace. It was deliciously clear that Jan’s uses fresh local ingredients and really understands how to layer flavours. We found a wonderful BC wine to accompany the lamb shank that made the meal menorable. Both desserts - bread pudding and chocolate pate had intense flavours and were just the right size. We both can’t wait to return to this gem on the White Rock beach!
