Even though this was our first time ziplining, which the bear tour is usually recommended for first timers, we decided to do the eagle tour instead as my partner and I like a bit of an adrenaline rush. Definitely did not regret choosing this. Tour guides were nice. They provide everything if you need extra stuff, such as gloves, thicker jumpers (which you should take advantage of, as it was really cold, even in october), etc. Would definitely recommend this.
Only thing I regreted was buying the "professional" photos at a ridiculous price. We bought them for memories but the photos was just ordinary and they only took them at one zipline. They put it on a USB, so it's not even printed. So bring your own camera and take many photos of your own.

Dear Sarah C,

First off, wanted to thank you for taking the time to write your review of Ziptrek - much appreciated. I was very pleased to read that you enjoyed your 1st experience ziplining, and you were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do it in spectacular Whistler.
I was obviously less pleased to read about the net result of your photo purchase. Without knowing the specifics our your particular tour day, I can't say with certainty why things transpired that way. Related to print options - we do provide print options for purchase that come with a custom printed frame (ie. USB is not the only photo option - unless our photo printer may have been down, in your particular situation). As for quality of photo, obviously a fair number of factors play into that - conditions of the day (cloudy, rainy), subject (hair, arm, or tether obstructing face, eyes closed at point of photo, etc.). So, although we make every effort and strive to take at least 6 photos of each guest at a designated spot on tour, there's no guarantee they will all be "purchase worthy" (but on most occasions, at least 1 or 2 are).
All that said, I'm truly sorry to hear that yours did not turn out to your satisfaction. Lastly, your suggestion of bringing a camera along on tour is solid advice - we encourage our guests to bring small cameras along (if they so choose) to snap additional shots of the amazing scenery, and their unique experience.
