“Well prepared food but a bit on the pricey side”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Unless u want to pack your lunch for skiing this is one of the few places to eat. The food is good, they use good quality ingredients but I think the prices r a little step. $15 plus tax is the average price for a burger , fries and drink from the fountain. The burger, chicken fingers and the soup have all been good. When there r only two people the price doesn't bother u so much but with four it is pricey. Avoid the muffins at $4 each they are okay nothing special but if u are hungry then u wouldn't be disappointed.

“good food, busy but no queues”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We were impressed with this mountain restaurant, where we ate twice last week. The range of food options was very good with the best salmon salad sandwich I've had in a long time. The restaurant was busy but the till operators never had more than 1 or 2 people waiting.

“Better than basic grill fare with all the view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012 via mobile

Deli with soup, salad, and sandwich options. Grill with made to order beef, chicken, and veggie burgers, fried fish, fries, etc. I say better than basic because my husband's chili was served in a bread bowl, my burger was thick and cooked to order, and I got sweet potato fries cooked to order. Total about $25

Outdoor patio with spectacular view but inside is all windows too.

“End of the day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

We reserved the BBQ dinner for the five of us along with the lift/peak to peak option. We saved money by getting the package. We went up early and hiked a couple of different trails (got to see marmots!)for the whole day. Then we headed over to the Roundhouse about 4:45pm. We were told that people line up around 430pm-445pm however I think what happens is that people go out on the patio and sit at tables and wait for the buffet lines to open. All the seats on the main patio were taken. We sat on the upstairs patio and at first were disappointed thinking we would want to be down on the main patio, but when the buffet opened we were so gald we were up on top. The crowd gets a bit crazy down there everyone coming and going and the inside seating is right there as well so it feels a bit close. However a few of us found the upper patio and it was very easy to go down stairs and get your meal and come back- then you have a great view and it is a bit quieter. We didn't have to wait in line or to choose items for our plate- they have a good system in place. We did the prime rib which was Saturday night. The food was pretty good. Lots of different sides that could be main meals in themselves. Filled up pretty quick. Plenty of dessert choices. They have a kids section if your kids don't care for the main selections-my 5 yr old was free! The water had been infused with mint and was delicious. People were still coming in and asking if there were tables on the main patio when we were leaving, but it never really seemed to clear up and you saw them just sit inside. The upper observation deck is very nice has lots of tables and great views. The back patio which has shade was closed for a function. It was worth it- we were going up to hike/peak to peak and would be eating dinner anyway so it was a nice experience just to eat there at the end of the day before heading back down to village.
