“Inexpensive & Tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2009

After spending a fair amount on accommodations & winter sports, we were looking for a place to grab an inexpensive dinner in Whistler. Pasta Lupino definitely delivered.

The restaurant is very small, but we were lucky enough to get a table right away at about 7pm on a Saturday night. For less then $15, one can get bread (served with Olive Oil & Balsamic vinegar), soup or salad, and a pasta dish (with added chicken). Overall, the food was excellent quality. I really enjoyed the homemade soup and pasta. The only disappointed was that my boyfriend's chicken wasn't quite warm enough, and the table felt like it could have used a good scrub down. Despite this, the food was delicious and cheap enough that I would definitely return!

“An absolute gem that you really must try”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2009

You walk into this very unassuming little Pasta type cafe with only about 6-7 tables.
They make their own pastas and sauces and sell their produce in the store.

Menu came and they have the classics, lasgne, bolognese, pasta with meatballs, chicken parmagiana etc

CAD 11.95 gets you a starter of either the soup special or a caeser salad and the main course.

I chose the tomato and bacon soup which was just stunning and full of flavour
I then went for the bolognese which was one of the best I have ever tasted and the homemade pasta was just delicious.

Faultless service, good wine selection and great value for money!

“Great Local Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2009

This is a great little pasta restaurant recommended to me by some local residents. The restaurant is small (only 5 or 6 tables), but we had no problem getting on. The prices are great and everything is freshly made. It really filled us up after a long walk in the cold through the village!

“This IS the reasonable pasta place at Whistler”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2009

This is the place you need to find when you wish to have take away Italian food that's very sensibly prices at Whislter. They also have a bit of seating should you wish to dine in; nothing fancy. The pasta is excellent; it's the place the locals go. Our concierge told us about it as she and her husband eat there. After a big day skiing, when you don't wish to go out, this is the place for the take-out pasta.
