Excellent real ice cream available in about thirty favors daily. All favors are not available every day. Many of the favors have cow themed names - Mooey Gooey is a good choice. A big fiberglass cow on the village stroll makes the shop easy to find and is a favorite of kids for pictures. Beware: it is addictive. We tend to go every evening after dinner when we are in Whistler. I usually get two scoops in a cup - drip factor because of warm weather. This is premium ice cream and is priced to value. Meaning you get value for the price. There no seating except for the benches along the street. Be sure you put your plastic spoon in the recycle side of the trash bins!
Only downside is the normally long lines. They have a steady stream of customers. The staff is friendly and fast at their jobs, The cause of the lines is customers not being able to make their choice, allowing their children to sample way too many favors, and not understanding the concept of moving down the service counter as the people in front of you leave. Staff does a great job of trying to provide guidance. I have never been there that I had to wait for service when I reached the counter.
A must visit spot even if you don't like ice cream. The store is part of the Whistler experience. It is the one spot that most people ask if you visited when they find out you were in the village.
