“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Great location! In the middle of where the action is in Whistler. Rooms are clean and well appointed but a bit small. Pricey compared to it neighbors. Kids love the pool. Will always consider staying here everytime i visit.

A group of us stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding and we really enjoyed our stay there. Our room included a separate bedroom, large living room (with comfortable double pullout), kitchenette and spacious bathroom. It's really well located (a bit of a walk from the ski lifts but very do-able) and includes a very nice breakfast with a great selection of mostly continental choices but far better than your average included breakfast. The gym is on the smaller side but it's new and clean and the outdoor pool area is very nice.
I would definitely return to this hotel, it offers very good value and the front desk staff and front doormen were really nice.

My family and I like the location of this hotel as it is right near the shops and restaurants in the village. We stayed in a one bedroom corner suite with a nice view of the mountains. The overall size of the suite is large, and it does have two balconies, but the space is carved up into teenie rooms: a mini den, a mini bedroom with a double bed, and two very small full bathrooms. The lobby, exercise room, and pool seem 3/4 scale too. Overall, it's a nice hotel, but the scale or maybe the layout of the living spaces seems a bit off.

Stayed here with the family for four nights. We loved the location, the breakfast buffet was really good, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and of good size. The location was right in the middle of the village. Breakfast had good selection of fruits, pasteries, cereal and cold cuts. Considering that breakfast was included in the room cost for all three of us (as opposed to just two people like most hotels), it was very good! Oh, the coffee is really good!! Except for one small incident with a front desk staff who was so-so, we had no issues with the staff. We made dinner twice during our stay and my wife found the kitchen clean overall including all the utensils and pots and pans.

Wi-fi was included with the cost of the room. Parking was a bit expensive considering that we never used the car during our stay. We had to make couple of requests to front desk when we checked-in which were met very quickly. This was our first stay with Pan Pacific and when we go back to Whistler in the future, we will definitely stay at the Pan Pacific.

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. This is a pristine hotel located in a pristine village. The staff were incredibly helpful from the time I made my reservations months in advance to when we checked out. We were both expecting quite a lot before we showed up and I must say our expectations were surpassed everywhere.

Our room was lovely and had a full kitchen. The bathroom was very nice.

My wife went to the spa and enjoyed it immensely. The continental breakfasts were very good and were improved by the very helpful staff.

This is a beautiful hotel but what makes it truly special was the friendly, helpful staff that work here.

This is one of pricier hotels but well worth it. Like many hotels in the village, there are often great deals, especially on the weekdays, and we got one for our stay. It pays to look around the sites.

1) Save on hotel parking by using the free lot 4 which is just down the road. It may take a while to get a spot but we quickly found two and saved a bundle on parking.

2) Take out dinner from Earls across the driveway.
We all hate the long meals at most Whistler restaurants. We didn't want to cook full meals nor order bad pizza. Though the hotel offers a delivery service from Earls, in our experience, waiting for delivery takes time and the service charges hike up the meal price. We placed our order, went for a stroll around the village, got drinks and went back to pick up our food. The ribs were still hot and the coleslaw cold when we got back to the room. My mom wanted to cook her own meal and she got to eat with us. We loved eating in the living room and playing cards an hour later.

3) Eat breakfast as brunch.
The complimentary breakfast was fabulous and filling. By eating at 9:30am, we weren't really hungry at lunch so we snacked on fruit and crackers and had an early dinner.

4) Use the coffee dispenser
The huge pot of Pike Place saved us a bundle on Starbuck trips.

Overall, we thought the stay was great value compared to hotels with a lower price tag. Our two-bedroom suite was large. We liked the king bed in the master bedroom whereas some only have a queen. We felt it was well worth the price. We have stayed at other resorts around Whistler, but some had sketchy service or we didn't like the location. We would definitely be shopping around for the best deal to stay here next year.

For dog owners though, they do have a strict policy of not allowing pets to be in the room alone. This would make eating out difficult, so I recommend eating in as we did.

On a whim I looked up Whistler as a destination to tack onto our BC vacation and found this gem. We happened to look at the hotel website when the most fantastic offer was on - third night free!!! We were greeted by very friendly staff and able to quickly book into a lovely room with terrific views - honestly I think any room at this hotel would be great. We were lucky enough to get a room on the 6th floor. The rooms are finished to a high standards with granite counters and batherooms done w ith slate tiles. The kitchenette was terrific and allowed us to cook some meals in - though don't expect to have all of the tools in good condition that you might have in your own house. The breakfast was an unexpected delight with a wide variety for continental breakfast including plenty of protein choices and other gluten free: ham, turkey, salami, cheese, eggs, cereals, lovely fresh fruit, yogart, breads, coffee, tea and more. The aveda products in the bathroom were lovely. Even withouth the deal we would come back!
