“Great Location, Great Rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2011

Located right at the Whistler Creekside chair lifts is great for quick access to the ski hills. Alsop the lodge is across from very good shopping, restaurants and a large and very cool pub. Good Entertainment. The parking was available and free plus there is a nice large size swimming pool with an athletic gym down stairs. Our room was a very large sized suite with an upstairs masterbedroom loft. Kitchen with granite heated flooring and in the living room hardwood bamboo flooring - nice. But the real "piece de resistance" waas the river-rock floor to ceiling fireplace. What a great experience!

I go boarding every year with Inghams and we've found this place by accident. The fact we stay there every year show what we think. Its NOT the poshest, nicest, best hotel in Whistler, but it is 100 metres from slope, same distance to Dusty's and the staff have ALWAYS helped and been there id needed. The rooms ARE basic but all we need is a bed, shower and bathroom, and a TV. It has those and a hot tub.
You have a large store near by and a SUBWAY across the road.
Like i said we have stayed there for 6 years straight and I have found NO faults that i would complain about.
A tip.. Its the FIRST hotel drop off and last pick up. So english flyers, if your pick up time is 3 or 4pm, flight around 8pm, you get the extra full day to play

  • Liked — Location, lifts NEVER packed and NO queues
  • Disliked — restaurant closed next door
  • Tips/Secrets — Inghams.. first drop. last pick up..1 day extra skiing

We stayed at the Whistler Creek Lodge for a stopover. It is a basic accommodation, but we expected a bit more. There is a nice pub within walking distance for dinner and the food is good. The room we had was very basic, no microwave, fridge and could use a lick of paint some deep cleaning and updating. It does have a coffee maker (you have to provide your own coffee, filter etc.), no hair dryer in the room (be sure to request one when you check in. They are available at the front desk). The front desk doesn’t open up until 8:30 in the morning so checking out or getting a pass to use the gym in the morning is impossible if you are an early riser. The front desk staff is very friendly but they don’t advise you of this when you check in. Would we stay their again? Probably not.

I stayed at the Creek Lodge for 10 days, and I was not sure what to expect given the differing reviews, but I need not have worried. It was clean, friendly staff with good access to the creekside gondola (5 - 10mins walk) and bus stop (5 mins walk).

The room could have done with a lick of paint, and there have been some rushed repair jobs in the bathroom, but these were minor points in my opinion (this was the cheapest place I could find excluding hostels).

The staff were very helpful, and went out of their way to assist the guests.

All in all, it was good value. If you're looking for out-and-out luxury then look elsewhere, but can't fault it for value for money.

Whistler Creek Lodge is in the area known as Whistler Creekside and the Lodge is beside the Husky Gas Station on Highway 99. As a Vancouver resident, I am always looking for inexpensive overnight weekend accomodation and this place fit the bill. Three of us shared a room with two queen beds and we got a great deal over the internet for $89 a night plus taxes. The hotel is average and is in need of updating. The staff were young and very pleasant and the rooms were clean with lots of fresh towels.

Another friend rented a room with a Queen bed and a kitchenette. He was also happy with the room and price.

The hotel has a hottub and an incredible gym in the basement that seems to be used by locals and tourist
alike. If you want to workout this is the place!

All in all this is budget style hotel that is located at Whistler Creekside and is 3 minutes from the lift and 5 km from Whistler Village. I would recommend this place as it is clean and reasonably priced but it is no Four Seasons Hotel so enjoy it for what it is and save your money for dinner and drinks!

well my boyfriend and I just stayed a week at the lodge. It was clean, the staff were friendly and informative and local amenaties were all within walking distance. We also had a great time easing our aching bones in the hot tub after a hard days skiing! This hotel provides simple and affordable no frills accommodation, and it's the perfect setting to ski and relax in peace.
