“One of the best hotel stays in Canada...ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

Stayed here for a ski trip, and it was amazing! Having stayed at fairmont properties and other luxury properties before in the past for ski destinations, we were excitied and tried not to overhype ourselves. The hotel was huge, clean and upscale. The room was beautiful. Dark wood and warm tones, with little added touches everywhere. The ski concierge was pretty unique. They even brought our skiis back to our room, cleaned and waxed them and placed them in the bags with a note. This exceeded my expectations and I have been back since because of this stay! Room service is great, and the Sidecut is a great dinner. Breakfast in the restaurant was a little slow, even with no guests. Order room service, faster! The lounge food and drinks were casual, with a fire pit outside near it to roast marshmellows and drink a warm drink. The spa was the best feature. Steam room, pool and outdoor jacuzzi is hard to be matched, and they have service right to the pool. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

We have stayed at other Four Seasons (ski places and otherwise) and Whistler is everything you expect from a Four Seasons. Amenities, service, spa, kids oriented, property etc.

The location while less desirable from the standpoint of not being in Whistler Village is the only thing that may make one pause, but they make up for it with their fantastic concierge service and shuttle service. Blackcomb village, where the ski concierge is located, is quieter then Whistler Village. The walk to the ski concierge from the hotel is very quick and non-issue as far as my kids were concerned (we could have taken the shuttle but realized how close it was). While we didn't take advantage of it because we had to pick up one of our kids at ski lessons at the base of Blackcomb, the fact that you can drop your skis at the bottom of Whistler Village too (they have a tent there to take your skis back to the concierge base in Blackcomb) and enjoy an apres ski in Whistler village without the hassle of dealing with your skis afterwards is wonderful. This is a service I don't think others offer, the ability to ski to either village and be looked after. The shuttle service was also excellent for anywhere you needed to go.

Our son's birthday happened while here and they ensured he had a treat at breakfast and a card and treat later in the day in the room. It was a nice special touch for him without our asking.

We got the family ski package in September which also made it an excellent value.

We would certainly go back!!

The SPA at the Four Seasons is wonderful....Very relaxing and very attentive staff...I wanted to move in. I did stay for the day! Very professional and a lovely setting. Expensive, but worth it if you dont pamper yourself a lot...a real treat!

This was our second visit to the Four Seasons in Whistler (the first was in 2010). I had very good memories of the great service and ski concierge, etc., and was hoping that standards had not slipped in the meantime. I'm pleased to say that the experience was even better this time. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff. The ski concierge was excellent, we were offered free use of the hotel car on a number of occasions (after asking to book a cab), and everyone was generally happy to provide whatever we needed. The hotel is well located for the slopes (easy 5-10 minute stroll) and in my view is really very much nicer than the Fairmont, which is only slightly closer to the mountain (and which we had also originally considered staying at).

The room was of a good size (plenty of room for ski gear), with very comfortable bed and lovely bedding. We ate in the hotel several times (breakfast, bar and restaurant); dinner was a little overpriced for what it was, but breakfast and bar meals were pretty good value (with massive amounts of food on offer). My only negative observation is that the room and corridor decor (apart from the public areas) are starting to look somewhat jaded, and could do with an update.

Overall, it was a really superlative experience, and we would love to return before too long.

We stayed at the whistler property for 8 nights and can not say anything negative about the property. Rooms are clean, friendly staff and always willing to help. You can use their shuttle service complimentary and they'll so have the ski concierge at the base of black comb. You have to try their restaurants and in room dining .. Excellent service.
I wish they could control the weather to make it a perfect vacation.

My fiance and I stayed at the Four Seasons Whistler for the third year in a row, and had an amazing time again. The service was wonderful, breakfast buffet was scrumptious, free wine and cheese hour in the bar was delightful, apres ski massage was relaxing, and the apres hot tub scene (with drinks) was the best. The ski concierge and ski rental areas are as efficient and friendly as ever. This year, we also used the "house car" a couple times in addition to the shuttle bus, and both are great amenities. In addition, the staff go the extra mile, not only in terms of service, but even just remembering you from day to day so that you don't feel like just another guest passing through. I can't say enough good things about this hotel, and hope to return again next year!

Room Tip: All the rooms have fireplaces, and I don't think the view makes a difference all that much. Besi...

My husband I stayed here for our honeymoon.

Upon arriving we were informed that we had been upgraded to a suite due to it being our honeymoon and in the room was champagne and strawberries waiting for us.

Our bags arrived at our room very quickly and the bell boy was very helpful offering to show us around the room and see how all things worked.

All staff at this hotel were amazingly polite helpful and a pleasure to be around. Nothing was too big or small to help with!

The ski concierge is fantastic, everything is kept at the base of the mountain at the end of the day and dried ready for the following day. The staff at the concierge are once again impeccable and always ready to help or offer advise if required about anything.

After a long day skiing head down to the hotel bar were between 4pm and 5pm there is complimentary wine tasting where each person is given one glass of white wine and one glass of red wine which is accompanied by a cheese board.

The shuttle bus is a great option and runs frequently from the hotel to town and back again which was good when tired as it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk into whistler village. If the bus is going to be a while the door staff are more than willing to take you in to town in the Mercedes which is a nice touch.

The skiing and boarding is fantastic and as we have come to expect in Canada the people and the mountain staff are wonderful people!

The room in the hotel is lovely with a very comfortable queen size bed, two bathrooms and a living area! We were blown away by the quality of this accommodation! The rooms are turned down at least twice a dayalso.

The pool and hot tubs are also a must after a hard day on the mountain and drinks are served to you in the water!

We have had an amazing trip here and would definitely come back and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!
