I found this incredible bed and breakfast online and was delighted at all the informative correspondence I received when emailing them with my various questions. I booked a few days in the Hemlock Master Suite for my fiancee's birthday/ our anniversary and we couldn't have had a more wonderful time. Cynthia was fabulous- giving us food and activity suggestions and she even picked up a birthday cake I purchased and snuck it in the room with a cuban cigar and champagne for my fiancee to find when we came back from our dinner! We made use of our private in-room jacuzzi and fireplace and even the soap in the bathroom was heavenly. We really were doted on every second of our stay and we would highly recommend the alpine chalet to others, I know we can't wait to return, thank you for a lovely time and our most memorable anniversary!

The Alpine Chalet in Whistler was truely our "home away from home". The innkeepers, Cynthia, Fritz and their sons, treated us like family! They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, from insider information on where to eat to the bus schedule to get to and from town (the bus was very convenient to get to town since we didn't have a car). Our room was very clean and inviting with own very own fireplace, to an on-suite bathroom with a skylight and high wall tub, and a very comfortable bed to come home to after a day on the mountain. Oh, an the wireless internet was also convenient. It was such a treat to wake up each morning to a fabulous breakfast (some of Fritz's recipes from Switzerland), and then to come home to homemade cookies, buiscuits, hot and cold drinks of plenty! And to top it off, we soaked in the hot tub every night. I highly recommend staying here....hopefully we will be back some day! Oh...and Cynthia and Fritz had some wonderful stories to share if you have time : )

This was our first time at a Bed & Breakfast and boy was it worth every penny!

It felt like home away from home! Excellent inn keepers, excellent gourmet breakfasts, complimentary hot & cold beverages.....perfect!! (By 'gourmet' I mean the breakfasts were probably a lesser amount than the ones you may have at home, but by 'gourmet' I also mean they were flavourful, satisfying, creative and a real treat!!)

The steam shower & hot tub were great to come back to from a long day on the hill or shopping to relax in!

The room we had was beautiful. We had one with a beautiul fireplace & comfortable bed. The room was not huge, but it had everything we needed & was perfect for the two of us. The ensuite bathroom was a great size. Everything was very clean & tidy.

Cynthia, one of the Innkeepers, was extremely helpful & amazingly friendly. She offered us printed pieces of papers listing directions to tourist locations & other ammenities.
It was great, as a first timer to Whistler, to have this type of service offered for getting around & making our trip worthwhile.

All in all: A very comfortable, quiet, helpful, and SAFE environment made this Bed & Breakfast the first (and hopefully only) location we'll call when we head to Whistler again.

As a first introduction to Whistler in the midst of the rain and the cloud, Whistler Alpine Chalet was a ray of sunshine! Upon arrival we were welcomed by open doors and friendly faces of our innkeepers, Cynthia and Fritz, who proved to be the most gracious hosts, volunteering things to do and places to see.

Our room (Hemlock) was large, but cozy. Furnishings were nice, bathroom had heated floors and the fireplace created a fabulous ambience.

The food at the Chalet was above and beyond expectation. Fritz being a Swiss-trained chef, provided a breakfast that was out of this world. Day one started with homemade raspberry muffins followed by omelets with smoked ham and various smoked cheeses with fresh fruit and greens. Served of course with hot coffee and an assortment of teas. Not to mention the fresh juice! Day two was a mouth watering tiered BLT with maple smoked bacon, poached eggs, fresh roma tomato and arugula, cirular toast and a drizzle of aged balsalmic. A special yogurt parfait was to start. The food definitely won't disappoint.

Overall, I have never been to any form of lodging that made me feel more welcomed or more special. It was sad to leave here. This place would likely be the reason why I would return to Whistler.

My wife and I spent three wonderful days revisiting Whistler which we had not see for 15 years. We stayed at the fabluous Alpine Chalet B.& B with hosts Fritz and Cynthia.
Our accomodation in the "Spruce Room" was extraordinary. The atmosphere of the room (our own fireplace)and as a matter of fact the whole facility was inviting and relaxing. Cynthia assisted greatly by pointing out sites of interest that are being prepared for the 2010 Winter Olympics
Breakfasts were a special treat prepared by our Swiss host Fritz who displayed his outstanding professional talents.
We plan to return to Whistler again next spring and we will definetly return to this wonderful B and B. I would not hesitate to recommend it to all our friends. We returned home with many pleasant memories of our revisit to Whistler after so many years absent.
