Stayed in a one bedroom on the 4th floor at the back of the property. Had everything we needed for our family of four. Did bring my own laundry soap as was recommended in an earlier review. Shuttle bus was very convenient and just across the street. The grocery store was very busy, so I would recommend stopping on the way up if possible. We used the hot tub and pool everyday. Most adults found the pool a little on the cool side, but the kids didn't mind. Also used the game room facilities. Appreciated the under ground, secured parking, but it is a bit tight. We enjoyed being out of the village and didn't find it a problem as the bus service was so handy and convenient.

We had never been to Whistler before and will definitely go back. Kids took their first ski lesson and it was a fantastic experience. Both (ages 10, 7) enjoyed it. Instructors and staff were great and I highly recommend their program. We also used the tube park and had a lot of fun.

Would stay at Horstman House again and recommend it to others.

We had a five night stay here for a family of five as part of a trip including British Columbia and Washington State.

We found the accommodation provided was of excellent quality, well maintained and clean. The free indoor locked car park under the property was a real bonus, as were the ski lockers. We used the swimming pool and hot tub most days which was great after a day on the slopes.

The accommodation was well laid out. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment for cooking etc including a dishwasher. The apartment also has its own washing machine/dryer.

A free regular shuttle service is provided, with both the bus stop to the centre and the drop off conveniently located outside the Horstman. The shuttle only takes approximately 5 - 10 mins to the bottom of Blackcomb/Whistler.

I would recommend Ski Independence for booking ski equipment and lift passes. I found them to be good value for money and extremely efficient.

This was the first time we skied in Whistler, after experiencing four ski holidays in Europe. We found the facilities, slopes and conditions were wonderful. There was no jossling or cues for the gondolas/chairlifts which can often occur in Europe. Whistler can be as expensive or as cheap as you make it. There is anything from high class restaurants, family dining to a McDonalds or KFC - or a well stocked supermarket if you wish to cook. After experiencing Whistler, I doubt if we would want to ski in Europe again.

We spent a week here in a 2 bedroom unit. We wanted somewhere a bit removed from downtown bars and restaurants and this quiet place met our needs perfectly. The unit's kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were large and it was very useful to have a washer-dryer. We used the free shuttle bus for the most part, freeing us of the need to park downtown.

The large supermarket is about 3 minutes drive away or 15 or so minutes' walk.

The underground parking can be a little tight for large SUVs and minivans, but we were also able to leave our rented SUV in a covered visitor spot.

We would return to Horstman House again.

Stayed for over a week and really enjoyed it. Rooms were very high standard and had all amentities including new washer / driers. Location in Upper village was no prob as bus stop is right outside which goes every few minutes for free. Outdoor pool and gym all very good but can get run over by too many kids. Parking underground is very tight though and you may need to park outside.Will def return.
