“Cosy Room”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Great location right in the heart of town with everything in walking distance. Close to the grocery store and lots of places for eating out. Staff were friendly and watch them deal with two owners of rooms in the property. Well done by the staff, pity the owners were rude to the staff.

Room was a bit small, but given the weather it was ideal for us.

Room Tip: Try and ensure you get a room that is not a corner room.

The staff here are awesome. They were extremely helpful with any questions I had and were very generous with advice. The rooms were great with full kitchen facilities. Location is right in the heart of Whistler, and near a variety of food options including grocery store.

Was wonderful location, but the mattress on bed where horrible. They where so so springy, two nights there my back was very sore. The pillows where extremly soft. The tiles in the bathroom where cracking, there was a hole in the bedroom wall.
Every thing else was great, just really crappy beds. You think being whistler they would have had better beds for there guest.

We had been reccomended this place by friends and werent disapointed . It was reasonably priced and very central. The underground parking wasnt cheap but was handy. We had a suite with a full kitchen with a balcony overlooking the square . I should imagine it would be noisy in peak season..There was a good supermarket across the square and lots of good restaurants our favourite being the Irish pub by the chair lift Great soups.

Easy underground parking (not cheap though but by Whistler rates its standard pricing ... ) , close to super market, bars, lifts, shops, ski rental, bus stop etc. Not new by any stretch but far from tiered. Not cheap by far from the worst value for money in Whistler and if you go with a crew of mates the Studio loft is idea or the 1 bedroom loft room would be ideal and cost effective for sure with 3 or 4 of you. Just make sure you get the double/queen bed downstairs as the stairs are a mission on weary snow legs after a few apres ski drinks! The little beds upstairs wouldn't be ideal if you were over 6'2 but they do the trick for most regular sized humans. Apparently its Whistlers only indoor pool spa and sauna. This sounds impressive but the outdoor setting is quite cool in the snow so you feel a bit like your missing out on that and the sauna was poor at best the pool not much better. There were a few creepy looking characters which negated our our attempt to test out what looked to be a decent hot pool. Staff were good, ski shop on site, no charge for ski storage, all in all this was a pleasant stay in a handy location, with a well equipped room to boot. Would stay again for sure with the only downfall being the above mentioned pool and sauna along with a very slow lift (weary ski legs issue again). Thanks for having us Blackcomb team!

Our Lonely Planet guide recommended this and when checking Whistler.com saw that we could get a great deal with us visiting out of season. We were based in a suite with a good, well-supplied kitchen with full oven, fridge, dishwasher and crockery etc. the bathroom was a decent size and the room itself was spotless. There was extra bedding provided in the wardrobe too if required.

The room looked out onto the front with a mountain view and some trees in full Fall glory with flaming red leaves. The room was mostly quiet, we did have one experience on a Saturday night around midnight with some noisy guests but upon advising, reception, they addressed it straight away.

The hotel is in a great location in the village with grocery and pharmacy next door altho in Whistler, it isn't a long walk to anything.

We ended up extending our stay by a couple of nights and the front desk were every helpful with our arrangements

Room Tip: Check Whistler.com for great rates around $79-$89 a night for a suite(!) for 2 nights and a $25 vouc...
