We did indeed see 2 bears and they lingered for long enough to get good pictures. We also went off road and saw lovely scenery, but no bears. Our guide's enthusiasm seemed to outstrip his knowledge (winters he is a snowboard instructor). We could have done with a little less talking.
Our bigger disappoint was that only 3 passenger seats in the vehicle have windows that roll down. We ended up in a vehicle with a group of 4 who were in the car when we were picked up. The two seats in the back are window seats, but the windows don't roll down for photography. In the first half of the drive, I was in the middle of the second row and couldn't really see anything. At the waterfall stop in the middle of the trip, they do make people exchange seats, but if you can avoid the middle seat do.
