“OK, but I would try elsewhere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012

Just returned home after spending 11 nights here. We were disappointed by the dated rooms, poor housekeeping and faulty appliances. Most of the appliances in the room did not work properly. The room was not very clean when we arrived, and two of the three times the room was cleaned, they did not do a good job.

This is not the first time to Club Intrawest Whistler nor will it be the last. Our stay was the first week of May (skiing/snowboarding winding down, mountain biking/golf starting up). The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful during our stay (especially Michel, who is fluent in French). The resort provides free internet service and parking (which at other resorts in Whistler can run you between $15.00 to $32.00 just for parking per day). The Mountain Beach pool is family oriented while the second pool on site is for adults. Fitness facility is small but adequate. Free mini theatre with three nightly features and a mini-market on site for those items you forgot, run short on or find yourself desiring later that evening (IGA Market in main village for all your grocery needs) For those inclined to "--- put another shrimp on the bbq ---", dawn the chiefs hat and get to it! The accommodations were spacious. We opted for a two bedroom condo unit with full kitchen. Unit was showing some "wear and tear" but overall, very comfortable. Resort is located in the Upper Village which is very quiet this time of year. There is no restaurant located on site, however there are several dining options in the Village from $ to $$ (check out the specials, can dine for $$ at restaurants which normally would cost $$$-$$$$ --- good deals!). The Peak-to-Peak tram was not operating (starting service May 28) but plenty of hiking, biking and exploring to be had.

It's all about family including big fully equipped kitchens with a "Cook's Closet" to borrow any special kitchen items (like the zester we needed!). Great room configurations with lots of elbow room. A cozy movie theatre. Pool for area for families and another for adult-only. Fantastic gym. Can't say enough...can't wait to become a member!

We had been before two other times but this trip was with 4 other gal friends and we stayed in a two bedroom. It was clean and roomy, the pools, bbq, lobby and games area were busy this weekend at the end of April. There was always staff at the counter available and they were kept very busy.

It is nice to see a time share exchange well kept up and sufficent staffing to meet the needs of people. There was some maintance noise and we called and were informed it should stop around 5:00pm which it did.

All in all I would love to return, the location is great and if you can walk for an hour or so you can take in much of the area by foot. Warning for parking underground the stalls are very snug, we had an SUV and it took a long time for me to get between the two lines - but the parking is free.

Room Tip: If you are on the ground floor make sure you supervise your patio sliding screens and windows if ope...

This place has so much you will park your car for the entire time you are here. The room we stayed in was huge with two separate bedrooms off the main room. It had just about everything you needed. There is a really well stocked store down the hall. Walk out of the front door and your in the middle of blackcombe downtown. Just down the mall from the lifts.
Awesome rooms.
Incredible facilities.
Super proffessional staff.
Maybe bring your own pillow but not neccisarily.
This is not the kind of place you come if you want room service, being a self contained apartment.

Can't say enough good stuff.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 260. It was at the end of the building and looking out over the pools. It has a BB...

It was a very nice hotel. The rooms are cozy, the location is kind of good and it is close to all lot of bike paths. My kids really enjoyed the free arcade, (and I did too), the pool was amazing with the slide. My kids have decided that hotels with slides for the pools are the best, so I guess they really liked it. It was a bit far from the village and the bottom of the pool is like sand paper so if you want to play in it you have to wear socks. My kids came back with bloody feet even though they loved that pool. Over all, it was a very good experience staying there and I will come back again.

Whenever my family wants a weekend of relaxation we come here. It is by far the best place we have stayed in Whistler (and we have stayed alot of places over the years...)

The building itself is rustic looking but super cozy. They have two pools areas; one for adults only and another for families both with hot tubs. They have an arcade downstairs aswell as a store and a movie theater where they show films by request.

The rooms are beyond spacious and are stocked with all you'd need for a family dinner. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large. We always get a two bedroom and the living room has a fireplace, several couches and a full kitchen table. There is a tv with a DVD player and stereo.

This hotel is located in the Upper Village and is about an 8 minute scenic walk down to the main lower village. Perfect so that you don't have to deal with the noisy night life!
