The site rightly classes breakfast as legendary. All was superb - the breakfasts of course were freshly made as we chatted to the owner, the accommodation was clean, well presented and roomy, the hot tub was a godsend after a hard day on the slopes and the location was ideal being away from the noise of the main resort but close to the bus stop to get to the village.
The owner was very hospitable and genuinely friendly and helpful.
I'd definitely stay there if I ever get to Whistler again!

I don't recall how I stumbled on your place via the net, but I'm SO glad I did! You have a lovely home like atmosphere and I think I'm in love with your pup Sam ;) It was just my luck that there were a couple of other singles checked in at the same time--that made it a bit more fun. But, regardless, I would recommend the Golden Dreams very highly to anyone looking for a quiet, homey place to stay! Getting to the village by bus was no problem, even at 6:30 am for my conference. It is a little bit far, but not unmanageable. The only suggestion I would have is to insulate the walls between the rooms and upstairs floor a bit. It's not terribly noisy, but sound does travel. Overall, a fantastic find and I will definitely be back! Thank you Ann and Terry.

In six weeks of travelling round Canada this was the very best B&B we visited. We arrived unannounced on the offchance of a vacancy and we were welcomed like friends of the family. The room was comfortable but it was the little things like a supply of biscuits and fruit and the advice about where to go for a good meal and sightseeing that marked it out as somewhere special. I got up early and sat comfortably writing my diary until Ann came in to say that she was starting to prepare breakfast. She asked if I would like a coffee and did I mind if she turned on the radio softly.

The Golden Dreams is a very very nice place to stay. For me, as an alternative to the hostels, the Golden Dreams was grate! I felt like home and the Breakfast was exellent!
