“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stayed in the Queen Loft room during Crankworx. The Front Desk girl from England was very friendly and helpful. Underground secure parking $18 nt, which is I believe std fee. I believe there was free coffee in lobby. Location is fantastic, in the village, but not loud. We never heard the bar or any noise from the Keg Restaurant.
Room was a bit dated, but ha
d some nice upgrades. I liked the style of having a loft, was unique. 2 tv's with shaw cable. We had a balcony facing the mt and a bit of a pool view.
Kitchenette had apt sized fridge and stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Also has a murphy bed, would feel a bit crowded if you had 4 people in the room, but may be ok with 2 small kids.
The pool closes promptly at 10pm. There are some rooms that the sliding glass door opens up to the pool, so if you have kids, that would be a good request.
Would definitely stay again. My only complaint is, it seems the GM replying to negative comments posted by others on here doesn't seem approachable. I have read many other hotel reviews and the GM's replies try to seem friendly ... Otherwise, we had a wonderful visit!

I recently stayed at Whistler inn and suites during the wanderlust festival. I was very happy to see that the room included a kitchenette, so we were able to make some of our own meals. The bed however is a very uncomfortable pull out couch. But was in a good location. No complaints.

Good News: Excellent location. Friendly, accommodating staff. Convenient parking in the garage, just a few steps from the lobby, for $18.00 per night.

Bad News: This has to be one of the older hotels in Whistler, and is badly in need of updating. Very poor accommodations for the price charged. Would not recommend this hotel, or stay there again.

Although very central, the hotel is located in a side street, so the rooms are very quiet. I stayed in the second building, the room had a balcony, kitchenette with utensils, and of course fully equipped bathroom. All very clean. If necessary there is airconditioning. The hotel has a spa and pool in the second building. When I had some problem, the desk staff were all very understanding and helpful, giving a very positive feeling. The hotel is close to the main pedestrian street, and the main attractions.Very warm recommended.

First Hotel that we drove up to when entering Whistler. Checked in for 2 days. They have a main property where the front desk is and then across the street is another one of their older properties. The room showed some wear, but I really don't care about that. The bed was comfortable and they had 2 TV's, one in the loft and the other downstairs. Really don't care about TV's since there is so much to do in Whistler. They have a jacuzzi in the area where I stayed, but if you wanted to swim in a pool, we had to go across the street and up the stairs to get to the pool, a slight inconvenience. They charge $18 for parking per day, with the heavy taxes and add ons in BC, I don't feel they need to charge you to park your car....just another way to gouge the tourists! Had a nice shower, small balcony with 2 plastic chairs and a small table. Also had a small kitchen. It was really just an average hotel....not worthy for more than 3 stars.

Room Tip: Try and stay in the newer building where the front desk is, much more convenient.

Excellent studio for 1-2 people, very nice view, quiet and peaceful. All kinds of cookware, stove and fridge. Just like home!

Air conditioning was very welcome, the suite was very comfortable and spacious, with a great view of the pool and median garden. Staff was very personable and had obviously had experienced the Whistler attractions, as the desk clerk was sporting a broken leg, but still friendly and happy to see us. Kitchenette was very handy, with fullsize fridge and dishwasher (yay!). Slept soundly on the beds too, quiet area facing the cul-de-sac. Definitely we'll be back.
