“An amazing stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We lucked out with our stay, and were able to get a Team Buy deal for the hotel, otherwise it would have been much to expensive for us to afford. We went up from Sunday to Thursday, in the late ski season, and were lucky enough to have both an amazing ski vacation and hotel to stay at. The hotel is in a great location, just off of the busy roads, but still so central that we never worried about making it to first chair. The staff were lovely, and the noise that people had mentioned in other comments seemed absent.

Room Tip: I don't know much about the other rooms, but we just loved our two queen beds.

I came here with some friends and it was an ok hotel. It was clean and the staff were ok, but it was very loud. The location was nice in the village but exrtremely noisy as our room was right above a night club. I found some of the staff to be immature as well. Other than the noise, I would probably stay here again.

thank you for your review. When you wish to stay with us in the future please call direct, ask for the returning guest rate and at the same time request a loft suite on the Village Green side of the building, it is much quieter.

The hotel is centrally located, near the shops, bars, restaurants and chairlifts. Cookies and coffee in reception were a nice touch.
This is quite a nice hotel but spoilt by a lack of cleanliness, particularly the shower. Some basic maintenance was also needed. Sadly not quite up to four star standard.

We have been to Whistler many times but this was our first stay at the Adara Hotel and we will definitely stay here again. The front desk staff, the manager, and his dog, were all very friendly. We had a King room which was pretty big with modern décor, fireplace, and fridge and microwave which came in very handy! The hotel is in a good location... short walk to the lifts, restaurants, and shopping. My husband loved all the small details like warm breakfast bars and tea/coffee in the mornings and cookies in the afternoon. Also the water w/ lemons in the front entrance, and the sound machine by the bed.
Thanks Adara, see you next time!

My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary at the Adara Hotel. This hotel is great for couples. The location is fantastic, walking distance to the main gondolas, restaurants, bars and the grocery store.

The hotel valet is very convenient and makes it easy to unload and load belongings with the help of the very helpful staff.

I love the fresh cookies in the lobby made in the afternoon, they were still warm when I came back from skiing. And in the morning the have fresh pasties and coffee available.

The rooms are very clean, with a tasteful modern decor and very spacious and comfortable.

Its great that the hotel is pet friendly, there is a gorgeous golden retriever greating everyone in the lobby and it made the trip more accessible for some of our friends.

Room Tip: Ask to be on the 3rd floor if possible - nice views from the deck.

I got a deal online so thought I'd check out this property.

Valet parking- $20 on site (right next door at the convention center it's $10/for 24 hours!)

Nice lobby, easy check in, hot coffee from JJ Bean available; nice perk!

Elevator up to second floor, found our lovely and modern room. Nice King Size bed, french press with more JJ Bean coffee, nice bathroom (shower only) with lots of complimentary products.

Oh, what's that on the night stand? Well, it's two pairs of EAR PLUGS! Why would we need those?

I look out the window and see that we are right across from a night club, and RIGHT ON TOP of another! This property has rooms DIRECTLY over Buffalo Bill's nightclub; a very popular hotspot. Not so bad while everyone is inside, but come 2:30am or so, and it's very loud right outside your window.

Hence the earplugs; and the noise machine which we had fun playing with, but didn't really realize it's purpose until 3am when we couldn't sleep.

Beautiful room, central location, hot tub, elevator, valet parking : PLUS

Expensive parking, room over a nightclub : MINUS

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room away from the nightclub!

thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. The earplugs and white noise machines really do help with the noise outside. You are correct in recommending that guest who are light sleepers request a room away from the village stroll, it can get very lively there at night. We are very pleased that you enjoyed our beautiful rooms, central location, hot tub, elevator and valet parking.
