Thanks Mark for being so friendly and outgoing. My mom and I enjoyed your service and the bike route you suggested and map you supplied were great!! It was easy to tell that you care about your customers and this made our stay at Summit Lodge even more enjoyable.

This facility was very commodious, well appointed and clean. Parking was included in the promotion which was a bonus given the area. It was very central to the Village Walk and other points of interest. Our visit was in late Spring which had the advantage of shoulder season rates and all the beauty of new growth and spring flowers.

Tidy, well presented hotel on the far end of the main village walking path, which puts it about 10-15 minutes walk from the ski lifts.
Large rooms, good housekeeping, free coffee all day, outdoor hot spa and pool. This place made our stay in Whistler so much more relaxing than it could have been.

Room Tip: The road facing rooms have a much better view of the mountains.

My family had a great time and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and very helpful. We would stay there again. My kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the complimentary lattes/hot chocolates!

Whistler is a fantastic place to visit, especially for the traveler looking for active experiences. This hotel is in an excellent location, yet slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the main Village. The staff is very casual yet service oriented. Everyone made us feel comfortable. Since there is a spa included in the Hotel that "feel" is carried out in everything from the decor to the amenities provided in the rooms.
One nice feature was the inclusion of a bicycle service off of the Hotel lobby. Mark, who runs Underground Tuners provides bicycles for the casual jaunt around town, but if you want detailed information on any of the multitude of bike trails in the area, he is a wealth of information and can recommend a ride to suit any level. If your personal bike needs repair Mark can handle any job needed.
We would gladly stay at the Summit Lodge on our next visit to Whistler and would recommend it to anyone planning a visit to the area.

We purchased a 2 night Groupon pass for our stay. The Summit web site says that the hotel is pet-friendly and would welcome our dog with her name on the VIP pets board as well as treats and food/water bowls in our room. I informed the reservation staff in advance that we were traveling with our dog, provided our dogs name, yet when we arrived her name was not on the board, and none of the dog-friendly amenities were provided. We ended up using 2 salad bowls from the kitchenette for our dog. A small disappointment for sure, but when claims are made, they should be backed up, as it was one of the reasons that helped us decide to stay there in the first place.

Other than that, the hotel is situated in a great central location near the Olympic Celebration Plaza and has good beds and decent wifi.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of the hotel. We appreciate all kinds of feedback. We strive to ensure that every guest's stay is memorable, however, sometimes we forget about some details. I am sorry that your dog bowl was not in the room for when you arrived. A number of factors could have caused this to happen and for this I apologize.

If you do choose to stay again and if there is anything wrong with your stay please do not hesitate to contact our front desk so as we can rectify our mistake on the spot. Thank you again for the review.

I do hope to welcome you back to the Summit soon,

Regards,

Tony

If you want some where to stay in Whistler that is a little quieter than being right in the heart of all the hustle & bustle & noise, then this is the place to stay. A short 5-10 minute walk to the Peak to Peak & plenty of choices for food. Very clean, helpful staff and the bed was very comfortable (like sleeping in a cloud). Thanks to Mark our friendly bike shop guy for the complimentary 3 hour bike hire, we had a great ride down to Green lake. Try Pasta Lupino's across the road for a good italian lunch or dinner.
