“Loved the Pinnacle!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2008

Loved our stay at this hotel. Great value for money and a short walk to the lifts, anyone that says the location is inferior must be very lazy! It's a 5 min walk!!! It was a beautiful stroll through a stunning, snow covered village. We would get up around 8am, stroll through the village stop for breakfast and coffee and then hit the slopes at 9am. If you are going on a skiing holiday then I think you are expecting to get some exercise aren't you??

Loved the hot tub outside and the staff were amazing. This was a holiday I had dreamed of for years and every minute of the 10 days lived up to my expectations. The kitchenette in the room meant we could have some nights in and the view was unbelieveable. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Whistler.

We stayed at the Pinnacle in February 2008 on a girls ski trip from New Zealand.

Nice and close to resturants/bars etc and a stagger in ski boots from Apre ski hot spots!

The room was extremely confortable, super clean but the best part about our stay, the staff, from the moment we started emailing to organise our holiday they went above and beyond their duty to make our planning & holiday perfect! thank you so much!! Hopefully get back there one day!

We also had a great stay at the Pinnacle. Friendly helpful staff, good facilities and great value for money. Loved Whistler and the Zip Trek

Picture this... (bear in mind I'm an aussie who'd had a long hot summer!!)... It's 2nd April, freezing cold day, winding roads from Vancouver to Whistler in a HUGE GMC 4wd i'm afraid to be in control of (why can't the whole world drive on the left??). Getting out and back into the car periodically throughout the trip with the kids to have photo's taken in pretty spots. Satellite Navigator takes us to the Pinnacle Hotel Whistler. It's snowing. Yes it's pretty, but darn cold. Walk into the toasty warm reception area where there is a gorgeous fireplace and a HEATED MARBLE reception counter. Up to our room which has 2 queen beds, a fireplace, HUGE jacuzzi, a functionable kitchenette and great size bathroom. Oh, and a balcony but it's too cold out there! Everything about the Pinnacle was sensational. The 3 of us spent 3 fabulously comfortable and fun-filled nights at Whistler. The ski lifts were a few minutes walk. The ziptrek was a highlight and a MUST-DO. Shops and restaurants are very close-by. I loved the Pinnacle so much we stayed a 2nd time passing through on 28th April!! Perfect in every way!

My son and I stayed here for a week in early April 2008 for a ski vacation. The hotel is not fancy but we were very satisfied. It's clean and neat, the rooms come with a small kitchen that is quite functional (though the supplied set of dishes / utensils was perhaps a bit sparse). Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Considering the very reasonable price (for Whistler, which is quite expensive overall), the location is great; it's only about a minute's walk to the "Village Stroll" and within five to seven minutes walk of everything in Whistler Villager, including the lifts to both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. It's near the biggest (and most reasonably priced) grocery store and the convenience store. It's right across the street from the only rental car place in town and one can up the airport shuttle right across the street.

The main queen bed was a great (my son slept on the pullout couch and was much less enthusiastic about it :-). It has laundry facilities which we did not use. It also has a pool and hottub located outdoors; we didn't use them but we saw a number of others using them. There is an Italian restaurant in the same building as the hotel; we didn't try it. The room has a very large jetted tub right in the room which my son used several times. Plenty of hot water. Cable TV with plenty of channels. Individual room air conditioner. Gas fireplace in the room.

In summary, we enjoyed it, it was a great value for the money and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here after reading Trip Advisor...we have stayed in Whistler many times before...it has a great restaurant, Quattro...but is quite a way to the lifts, we needed to take the bus...and preferred a hotel closer to the village centre. The hotel was fine...not great...we didn't find that you got the value for the inferior location.

We stayed at the Pinnacle at the beginning of March for 10 nights. Arriving at the hotel after a long journey from the UK we found the staff extremely friendly, efficient in checking us in and knowledgeable about where to go to eat. The room was large, comfortable, clean and had a good view of the slopes. Good value for money especially compared to some of the other hotels in Whistler. It is a bit of a walk to the Whistler gondola but there is a bus every 5 or 6 minutes from outside the door which can take you there or to the Blackcombe lifts in a similar amount of time which we used regularly and always got a seat on. The staff continued their excellent service throughout our stay here and we will definitely return.
