“Stayed 5 days; amazed at the staff patience and happy with facilities!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just came back from the Westin. We were there as part of a very large dance competition that included TONS of children for many days. Our room, a one bedroom suite, was in the East Tower and was perfect. As requested for the first three days room cleaning included only towel exchange and a few essentials. Still the cleaning staff were great and attentive. Day four we had a full clean; we were pleased!! Pool and gym....excellent, admittedly the gym was not great but that was due to young kids whose parents weren't managing them. Without kids, the gym is well equipped and modern. The hotel staff did a great job keeping the very hectic area clean and tidy. Desk staff: I wish I could remember names!! Very accommodating and attentive including our need for late check out (maybe SPG membership helped?) and our questions about various things!! Bellmen and valets!!! BRAVO!!! patience and extra care moving many people, cars, kids and the constant stream of dancing girls bags, luggage and make up kits!!! Never saw a frown or agitated staff member. I can't wait to go back without dancers!!! Oh location: great locale, can walk (or ski) anywhere in the village. One negative: parking is crazy expensive; I suggest dropping off your stuff and paying 20.00 less a day in public parkade two easy blocks away!!!

Room Tip: East Tower and get a one bedroom suite so that you get a small balcony

The good: easy walk to the main village, very dog friendly, comfortable, clean rooms. The bad: we were first given a room with one bed (even though we had 4 people in our reservation), but that was fixed quickly. Parking charge is steep. We got a good rate, but look for a deal- rack rate would be too much for this property. Pool is VERY tiny; even our kids didn't bother. Wifi is only free *if* you become a member of their club.

Felt very welcome by receptionist , who kindly answered all questions.
Were upgraded to a suite with king bed.
The matress very good, so slept well.
The shower is not well thought through....but it does work, even though you have to open the water before entering ....also when you open the glass door it drips down on the floor.
We had a great dinner in Grill and Vine...perfectly prepared dishes!! Great chef!

We enjoyed our stay in this well located hotel, close to valley trail, shopping, restaurants and the gondolas. Great comfortable sleep in quiet 9th floor loft suite with serene mountain view.
We will be returning soon to the Westin Resort and Spa and plan to stay longer in this beautiful setting.

Our family of 5 were at Westin Resort and Spa from May 8 to 11, 2015. We booked a two bedroom suite and a Deluxe Studio. Both rooms were cozy, comfortable and spacious. The in-room kitchen with ref, stove, cookware and utensils was very convenient. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient. The hotel was also conveniently located near the Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas and near the village shops and restaurants. Everything was within walking distance including booking places for the zip line, RZR adventure, bungee jumping and other activities. Outside the hotel were available cars offering private hotel shuttle service to nearby places. Our only complaint about this hotel was the in-room breakfast service. We requested for breakfast to be served between 7-7:15 AM as we had to leave at 8 AM for our day's activities. Breakfast arrived at 7:40 AM after two follow-ups which caused undue stress and anxiety on our part. The watermelon that came with the breakfast tasted near spoiled. Two sets of utensils were lacking from the breakfast tray and our ordered wheat bread wasn't served. Despite this, we would still recommend this hotel for its comfort and convenience.

Room Tip: The two bedroom suite is perfect for a family of 4 to 5 persons.

Green Features: Garbage segregation is encouraged in the rooms. There were trash cans provided for such.

This hotel is so close to everything you will need in Whistler. Our room was comfortable but in need of a revamp. The decor is getting a bit old. We had a small kitchen in our room that would be very handy if you were planning on staying for a while. The gas fireplace was a nice touch too. When you walk out the door you are just a couple of steps away from the main shopping which is a wonderful easy walk to do. The food we ate in the hotel restaurant was incredible. I couldn't believe the size of my servings. I wasn't able to eat it all so that was a bit of a waste but we were having a three course meal so I had to leave room for each course.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view. Our view wasn't much.
