“Great stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Stayed here just one night so didn't get the full experience as there is so much in the hotel. Great stay with a fantastic suite, spacious and very well thought-out. Quiet and seemed fully equipped. Lovely bathroom. Pool area was superb and staff were professional and friendly. Excellent location right into Whistler village. Not a great view from our room but this didn't affect us on this stay.

We had an amazing time at the Westin Whistler this past weekend. This was our first time staying at this hotel, but have been to Whistler many times as we live in the Lower Mainland of BC.

Great location tucked in a quiet corner of Whistler Village. The whole hotel is so cozy - lobby, spa, pool, rooms, etc. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in the Deluxe Studio Suite - great room, gorgeous bathroom with deep tub, pretty much full (but compact) kitchen, comfortable bed, living area with sofa bed, and a nice little view of the trees out back.

The main restaurant was under reno's (scheduled to be back open this December), but we ate in the Fire Rock Lounge. Delicious nachos! We ordered them as an appetizer but were too full to have anything after! It was quiet, but the bartender girl was super friendly.

We took advantage of one of the promotions the Avello Spa had. 50 min massage & heavenly milk bath for $109 + tax! Great deal. The spa was very warm and inviting. The receptionists and the spa therapists were very nice, friendly, and accommodating.

The pool was nice as well. Most of it outdoors (slightly heated), with a little part of the pool indoors as well (connected!). There are 2 hot tubs, one inside and one outside. Also a very nice eucalyptus steam room in the change room area. The whole pool area and change rooms are very nice and clean! There is also gym equipment as well with complimentary headphones, cool towels, and a water jug.

Overall, had a great 2 nights at the Westin, and of course thoroughly enjoyed Whistler as well! Also, as a travel agent, my standards are usually quite high and I can be pretty critical of hotels I stay at. Absolutely loved the Westin and would definitely recommend it and I'd stay here again for sure.

A friend and I recently travelled to Whistler and reserved our stay with the Westin. Our hotel experience was wonderful! Upon our arrival, friendly, courteous, and professional staff greeted us. Our suite was luxurious and spacious with an attention to detail. The piece de resistance ... a breath taking view of the mountain. As for the amenities: indoor/outdoor hot tubs, pool and fitness facility – an added bonus. Westin always comes through whether I’m in Halifax, Ottawa, TO or BC!!

We stayed at the Westin for one night on our tour of the Rockies by car. We were dealt with by a lovely check-in agent who upgraded us as we were on honeymoon to a beautiful attic room with open plan living area overlooking the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again in the future - would love to see it in ski season! Only slight downside was expensive car parking, however this is expensive everywhere in Whistler so I can appreciate it to a certain extent. The Spa and Pool were great with fantastic steam room and jacuzzi, very relaxing after a long drive!

This is a very nice hotel. Stayed at the hotel for a two days conference. Close to the village, the rooms are nicely laid out. The fireplace in the room is a nice touch. I would stay here again. Service was very good.

We celebrated thanksgiving with family/friends in Whistler and had a wonderful stay at the Westin. We were booked into the pent house and loved the setup. Vaulted ceilings with amazing views - overlooking the golfcourse and the outdoor pool/hot tub. Best of all the village is steps away for lots to see and enjoy. Thanks to all the fabulous staff @ the Westin!

Room Tip: Higher flows better views.

stayed 3 nights in September, great experience, hotel location is the best in the village, check in and out was a breeze, amenities are very good, rooms a neat, new and well appointed.

The Westin will be my first choice when returning to Whistler, in particular for ski season.

Room Tip: corner suites are great, choose a higher floor as the views are spectacular
