We stayed in one of the apartments at Wildwood for a two-week ski holiday and were impressed overall. The layout suited us well (two double bedrooms and an upstairs loft for six people) and was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms clean and tidy but very small.

Location is everything at Whistler, and the lodge is situated just over the road from one of the access paths that takes you directly to the base of Blackcomb mountain which means that its only a 2 min walk/ski (the path is mostly flat) to the lifts. There is also a bus stop directly outside which takes you into Blackcomb and Whistler village. To be sure, there are more conveniently located ski-in-ski-out hotels closer to the village, but most will find this adequate.

The public spa is excellent after a hard day's skiing and a great place to meet people from different places. There is a ski locker room that is accessed by a code - convenient if people are coming back at different times so no one needs a key.

The only inconveniences were inadequate lighting in the lounge and bedrooms - a bit of a pain to read in the evening, and cleaning staff who mistakenly took our personal facecolths...and brought them back bleached!

All in all, a really well setup apartment which was perfect for our time skiing.
