“Very Nice Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

My husband and I went there end of October (off season).
The Hotel is very nice, the staff were very friendly and helped us with places to eat, and things to do since we went off season for skiing.
The room was fair small, however very functional. Everything was very clean and balcony offered a great way to bring a little of the outdoor inside.
Also, the location of the hotel is FABULOUS! We drove from Vancouver and did not have to take the car out of the garage for anything. The Hotel is right by all the shops and restaurants, and if you go during ski season the hotel offers a shuttle to the gondola.
So, it's certainly a great place to stay!:)

We got married in Whistler earlier this year and were staying at the Delta suites; these guys are the nicest hotel in the area. Staff couldn't do enough to help us out - very good recommendations for the surrounding area. Great rooms, ours was one of the suites and it had a great view over the mountains. Kitchen facilities and washing/drying in the room was great for us too as our 2 week trip meant we had packed light too.

This is a wonderful hotel. From the moment of arrival the service was first rate. A special thank you to Ewen for all his care. We had ordered a king bed suite and were upgraded to a suite overlooking both mountains. What a treat to have such a view.

The suite was very well appointed with plenty of room. On a cool evening it was wonderful to sit in front of a gas fire.

Delta has a special rate for BC Residents. This made the stay even better, as the cost was well below what I had expected. The only slight negative is the cost of parking, but when you consider the layout of Whistler Village, you can understand that parking is at a premium. So, I added the extra $4 and had Valet Parking.

All in all this was a wonderful play to stay. We will certainly return and bring our friends.

The Delta is a good hotel for the price. I have stayed at the higher end hotels in Whistler and the Delta is definitely not comparable, although it is comfortable and clean. The one bedroom suite felt small and dated. I'm not sure if the have been renovated or updated since they were built. It is also in the middle of the village, which is good for convenience, but bad for noise. A number of people complained about noise (party goes) in the middle of the night and it was a Thursday in extreme low season. I'd recommend this Hotel for someone on a budget, but otherwise, there are a bunch of much better hotels in Whistler.

Visited whister a couple of days ago.

Stayed here in the Delta resort. The hotel is situated in the middle of the town. 100m from the olympic rings @ couple hundred of meters from the ski-lifts.

The street is filled with shops & hotels.

Room: very nice room with an XXL king size bed. The room was very clean. Room came with a microwave & small kitchenette. No remarks here. Basket of candy ( not free offc ) also on your room.

A lot of extra services here at the hotel. You have a very good restaurant, a spa, fitness room, 3 outdoor hot tubs, etc... Parking is indeed expensive. It comes at 24 cad if you park yourself. 28 cad for valet parking. Excl taxes. But then again, you are in whistler. Nr 1 ski-resort in Canada.

We will come back. Perfect hotel, more than we expected.

My Husband and I recently travelled to Whistler for a 2 night getaway!

The Delta upgraded us from their Queen room to the one bedroom suite- we were thrilled!
The kitchen was fully stocked and even included a full stove with oven. The location is great and is smack in the middle of the village. The staff was very friendly and the indoor/outdoor pool were nice and relaxing.

a key note to people not wanting to pay a fortune for parking. There is 10 per nigh parking kitty corner to the hotel at the convention centre... 3 minute walk after you drop off your bags in your room.

Thanks again to the Delta for an awesome upgrade and wonderful stay :)

We stayed here for one night as part of a ten day tour of the Canadian Rockies. Because it was out of season we got a really good price via booking.com.

Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. We were given a third floor room with plenty of amenities including a fridge and microwave. Room size was not over generous and the bathroom positively small but it was all clean and tidy.

We did not eat in the hotel as we prefer to go out to local restaurants for dinner. There are no shortage of these within walking distance.

One gripe. The parking fee of $24 a night is ridiculous. The only time on our whole trip we had to pay for parking and that includes city centre hotels. Almost cheaper to have put the car in the room.

If you are staying here ignore the hotel's $3 Pringles and Mars Bars in the room as well as the $2 cans of soft drinks in the fridge. There is a perfectly good IGA supermarket three minutes walk away where you can get these items at normal prices.

And given that they trumpet their green credentials why do they still offer bottled water in the room, at a cost? The tap water is fine and does not need plastic containers.
