“Great service, beautiful hotel - thanks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

We rated the Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside highly and really enjoyed our stay. Our group were booked for a week and we arrived just at the end of the ski season and early spring. I believe the room rates were better as some parts of the hotel were closing for maintenance. The staff were cheerful, courteous and very helpful with advice on places to visit, how to get around and what to see. They made us feel welcome and were always helpful for our requests and queries. The free shuttle service was handy until we hired our vehicles and although daily parking was expensive, the hotel gave us a good overnight rate.

Our room adjacent to the lift was a little small, the double bed folded up into a wall closet and there is a foldaway bed sofa bed, but the room fits two adults comfortably. The kitchenette was stocked with utensils, microwave and oven if you want to cook but you've got a great range of restaurants just minutes away. We bought wine from the nearby supermarket but walked a little further to the IGA. Our room overlooked the pool and spa gondolas, the square and the mountains. The Dub Linn Gate Irish Bar downstairs rocks with Irish bands and a great range of beer, bonus is, it's a short walk to the elevator if you've had a few. Check your bills at the end so you're not charged twice on the credit card. Otherwise all good, great stay, would come back again. Cheers Pan Pacific, thanks for a great week.

Room Tip: Rooms adjoining the lift are small and awkward in shape.

This hotel really has everything going for it. It's situated right by the gondolas, and most of the rooms have a spectacular view of the mountains. It's also very close to all the pubs, restaurants and shops in Whistler.

I spend two nights in a 1 bedroom suite and loved everything about the experience. The view of the mountains was breathtaking, I spend several hours on the balcony, sipping a chilled B.C. wine, just taking in the view. Below me, other guests were enjoying the same view from the hot tub and heated salt water pool.

The suites in the hotel are spacious and well designed. I was here by myself, but could see myself return with my partner or a group of friends. The kitchen is medium sized, but has everything you need to cook your own meals (why would you, with so many great restaurants nearby), or make a cup of coffee in the morning.

I loved the modern, clean bathroom, fluffy house coat, and furniture. Everything was done very tasteful, timeless design, no clutter. The bed was a king size, and very comfortable.

Kudos as well to the great staff at the front desk who made me feel at home right away, and were always friendly and available to help when I had questions.

It was the perfect choice for our extended family. My husband and I booked a one bedroom with mountain view for a special weekend of celebration April 26 & 27. We also booked a studio for our daughter, son-in-law and 5 year old grandson( they were upgraded to a one bedroom which was great) Our rooms were both on the same floor making it easy to visit back and forth.
The service was excellent and everything was done with a smile! The suites are well equipped with all the essential kitchen equipment so if you want to stay in it is easy. The pool and hot tub were well used by us all. The special touches were-- a housecoat the right size for our grandson and even better was a complementary bottle of BC bubbly for our special occasion! You can't get a better location. Our grandson described it as a FUNDERFUL WEEKEND. Kudos to the maid service and the front desk --they do a great job.

Room Tip: The mountainside rooms are great for watching the activity all day long. As well they over look the...

What a great one-night getaway for my husband and I. We arrived early at the hotel as my husband was skiing for the day. Not only was our room ready, but we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with mtn view, top floor. WOW!!!!! I enjoyed wandering the village for a few hours and then poolside for the afternoon. Treaty like royalty, awesome dinner at The Keg and the fantastic entertainment later at the Duhblin Pub at our hotel. Hope to return to Whistler in near future and will definitely stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: High floor, mountain view.........

This beautiful hotel is right by the gondola. The hotel itself is so pretty. The room was awesome. It had a full kitchen that included oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, and full fridge. Perfect for planning meals instead of going out to the restaurants. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect room for our honeymoon. The staff was wonderful! Everyone was so happy to help for anything you asked for. Just genuinely good people that work there.

The pan pacific mountainside at Whistler (and be careful as there are 2 pan pacific's in this village) was in the perfect spot right in the heart of the village with beautiful views of the mountains. We got a free double upgrade as we went in the quiet season and the suite we got was amazing with a fire place, fully self contained kitchen and mountain views. At the time we went the buffet breakfast was complimentary. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The facilities were great offering fully heated pool and spas plus a sauna with glass windows looking out to the mountain. The only negative was that we wish we had more time there :)
