I've eaten here a few times- great to be able to ski down Whistler, take off your skis and grab a bite at the Village without paying ridiculous prices.
However, this time I came with my partner on a cool day in May, at lunch. For some reason the A/C was on, and freezing inside. The cashier (you place the order, prepay and they bring it out) was wearing a ski jacket, and said the owner doesn't allow staff to adjust the temperature....
They have a great selection of menu items- starting with yummy miso soup, giant cones and rolls, bento boxes and other usual fare. None of it is epicurian, but the food comes out really fast, the portions are large, the price low.
The decor is close to zero- with wooden booths and a side bar. If sitting on a stool, you either want to look at the chefs, or stare out the window. In this case, neither is possible.
Despite its shortcomings, I actually give this place 3 1/2 stars
