We went to this restaurant expecting to be wowed with a fresh take on sous vide and modern cooking. What we got was frankly a bit of a joke. The room is nice enough and small. The external view is pedestrian but the windows are big and the wall art is nice. The menu is very limited. The wine list is tiny - a handful of reds and whites - and not super creative. We started with a plate of lettuces, and felt like they overloaded the dish with the most bitter greens available, and underdid the dressing. No seasoning on the table and we had to ask for fresh pepper. For starters we had octopus and the pea soup. The former was lukewarm and bland. Soup was better but not remarkable. The main courses were also served lukewarm - a basil encrusted halibut and a pork dish that included something resembling spam served next to kimchi that wasnt strong enough to cover the oily yuckiness of the spam. The halibut was so bland we couldnt finish it, nor did the woman sitting next to us. We got the check and skipped dessert. Wish I could get the evening back. This place is nothing special, and lukewarm food is not a virtue. Don't fall for the hype.
