We live in Victoria but wanted to experience a getaway in our own town. Abbeymoore was beautiful, immaculate and the staff were delightful. Breakfast was amazing and kept us full all afternoon while we enjoyed Rockland, Oak Bay and downtown Victoria--all of which are within walking distance of the manor. The bed sheets were so comfortable that we couldn't resist buying a set for ourselves on the way out. Overall our stay was romantic, refreshing and everything we'd hoped it would be. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in the beautiful and spacious Rose Room. The bathroom is small but makes up for it with an...

We were warmly greeted by Ian, the owner, and given a tour of the lovely B&B. We stayed in the rose room. It was beautifully decorated and well equiped with everything you could think of.
The 2 course breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a shame we only stayed one night.

We stayed at the lovely Abbeymoore Manor for 3 days, and had a very wonderful time! The manor is beautiful and located in an older neighborhood a little outside of the downtown area. We stayed in the master bedroom which was very spacious and comfortable. The sheets provided were to die for! I even ordered some for our own home-- they are that good! The gourmet breakfasts were very good and local produce were used. The port, oh the handmade port was sooo good. My husband and I had some every night before we went to bed. I think we depleted their supply, because it was that good. Stephanie, Ian and Anne were all very accommodating and helpful during our stay there (calling for dinner reservations, taxis, tips on what to do, etc). They were all so friendly and genuine. We would definitely go back if we visit the area again. Thank you very much for such a lovely stay!

Lovely place and the room was great...breakfast was delicious and so filling we did not even need lunch...oh yes the fire and the port in the evening...the castle down the street was so interesting...
breakfast was filled also with a local 6 pt. deer strutting down the sidewalk in the morning and crossing the street like he owned it...hummingbirds outside the window...Ann and Ian were informative and gracious...they really know how create all the comforts and warmth you need...
they knew all of the best cafes etc...didn't want to leave...the lovely folks we met stayed on another nite they enjoyed it some much...
aloha

Room Tip: the rose room was roomy and loved the shower...also a gas fireplace...

Never having been to Vancouver Island, we booked a room at the Abbeymoore Manor by looking at web sights. When I called to book the room the level of happy support and the real hospitality was a pleasant surprise. Upon arrival, after a VERY long day of travel, the hospitality was warm, accommodating, and ready with directions to a local pub. Ian, the owner, has found his calling! Happy faces, incredibly comfortable beds, quiet rooms, and really yummy homemade yogurt , were great. As were the directions of things not to miss as we continued our travels through the island. If we return to Victoria, we will stay here again.

Once more we stayed at Abbeymoore Manor and marveled at such quality accommodation. Ian, Ann and Michelle are are warm hosts who genuinely care about the comfort of their guests. We return each fall and are welcomed as family!

Room Tip: We love the comfort of garden suites.

This was our third stay at Abbeymoore. Same great hosts, delicious breakfasts, interesting other guests, and a relaxing time. And, a delicious bottle of port in the lounge for a late night sip. Location is beautiful situated in the old treed part of Victoria. Just walking around in the neighbourhoods is reinvigorating to the soul. And only a short walk down to the coast.
