“Wonderful place, Wonderful hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2009

The Gazebo Bed and Breakfast in Victoria is charming and everything it promises to be.
The rooms are tastefully and beautifully decorated. The fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs are a great place to relax in.
Breakfasts are delicious and filling.
Most of all the hosts Linda and Martin are helpful and so very hospitable.
Staying at the Gazebo Bed and Breakfast is like staying with your favorite relatives. I cannot recommend highly enough. With all the choices of B and B's in the Victoria area, you could not pick a more special place.

“True Southern Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2009

Even though Martin and LInda are not from the SOUTH they have extended the same hospitality one finds in the deep South. The food was "to die for". You will never feel like a stranger at this abode. Bob & Judy Cole, Lafayette, La.

“CHARMING HOME, VIBRANT GARDEN IN PEACEFUL COUNTRY SETTING”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2009

Staying with Linda and Martin is like visiting the perfect relatives who know how to nurture, share interests but never intrude. They have great aesthetic style and taste in decor and manner. Linda prepares artful and delicious breakfasts. The garden cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat or restorative rest. On our stay, we toured several gardens and enjoyed viewing their well-loved garden. They have beautiful European tapestries hanging in the rooms and catalogues of many others that can be purchased. I want to go back soon.

“Delightful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2009

My husband and I celebrated a big anniversary that included a two-night stay in the wonderful Gazebo B&B. Our hosts, Martin and Linda, could not have been more helpful and yet they also allowed us privacy and space - the perfect combination. Our room, the Camelot, was beautifully appointed, elegant, spacious - with an electric fireplace that added ambiance and warmth in the chilly evenings. The double jetted tub in the equally large and luxurious bathroom was a delight after a day of hiking and kayaking, all of which, by the way, are a short drive from the Gazebo. And Victoria, with its wealth of good restaurants, is also an easy drive although there are also some good restaurants within 10 minutes of the Gazebo as well.
Breakfast at the Gazebo is something to write home about - it is truly wonderful. And filling enough to make lunch unnecessary.
Would we come back? In an eyeblink! This is the way a B&B should be done.

“Beyond our Expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2009

Martin and Linda are wonderful hosts and their beautiful, charming home exceeded our expectations. The room was charming, the jetted spa tub perfect after a long day of sight seeing, and the breakfast fit for royalty. I truly felt like a queen during my stay. This wonderful B & B is only minutes from Butchart Gardens and only a few miles from downtown Victoria. I recommend anyone visiting this area to stay at least 2 nights, more if you can, at the Gazebo.
