Owner description: Just around the corner from Victoria's Inner Harbour, Fisherman's Wharf is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered. This unique marine destination offers food kiosks, unique shops and eco-tour adventures in the heart of the working harbour. Wander down the docks with your lunch, buy seafood fresh off the boat, see moored pleasure vessels and float homes, and watch as fishing vessels unload their wares.

“Great Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

Loved the float homes and house boats, yes there is a difference. Came down for spotted prawns at the Fish Store which were over priced and over spiced and OVER COOKED. Too many people feeding the seals and too many seagulls crapping everywhere. Wear a hat and don't wear good clothing better yet take an umbrella you don't mind throwing in the garbage.

“Not what we expected”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

Ended up walking here but kind of disappointed with what was there. Maybe it was just too early in the season. Enjoyed seeing the floating homes.

“A must-see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

So charming - each house is unique. The food is excellent - we had Barbs fish and chips, and ice cream. We also used Eagle Wing for our whale watching tour.

“A great place to visit in Victoria”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2014

This is a nice little place just a lovely walk from downtown Victoria. You can get there by a 15 minute scenic stroll along the waterfront. Or you can drive there (paid parking) or arrive by water taxi. The water taxi costs $5.00 each way from downtown. There are interesting floating homes there, but as they are actual homes, you only see the outside. You can also see seals, as well as an otter. This is a perfect place to stop for fish & chips. We had great fish & chips at Barb's. You can also buy fresh seafood there to take home.
