We had a great experience the 4 nights that we stayed at Andersen House. We stayed in the Garden Room which was very quiet, private and had great natural light and views to the back yard. This room was extremely clean and the king bed very comfortable. Max and Janet, the owners of the B&B were friendly and more than willing to offer their opinion and suggestions of what to do in Victoria, which we much appreciated. The B&B is an easy 5 minute walk to the inner harbour and 10-15 minute walk from most places downtown. So a car is not necessary to get around town from Andersen House but we had a great time renting a car one day and exploring more of the island. The breakfast Janet fixed each morning was delicious. On a side note our overall experience with dining in Victoria was very hit or miss. Max provides you with a list of recommended places to dine and I would highly suggest being loyal to this list. Every place we tried on the list was good but everytime we strayed the food was terrible and we are not even picky eaters. The Andersen House was great and we will stay there again when we return to Victoria.
