“Sppoky!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Such an amazing piece of history! So spooky to walk through, I was attacked by a crow that seemed to guard a grave. It was awesome. I love walking through it.

“A good place to learn some local history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

I love wandering through the paths and among the trees in this seaside cemetery. My favourite spot is Emily Carr's grave, her inscription is one of the most poignant and simple I have ever read.

“Looking for Billy?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

We went looking for Billy Barker's grave. We work in Barkerville and wanted to see where our town's name sake was buried. It was a beautiful day and a lovely walk through the cemetery. Saw many names of long departed, history making people. A great way to absorb some history.

“A quiet place to Stroll”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Beautiful setting, with spectacular views of the water. Nice place to bike through. Please respect pedestrians, and especially people visiting family graves or the occasional funeral party.

There is a big buck deer that can often be seen in the cemetery, as well as raccoons and otters. There are several restaurants and a pub at Fairfield Shopping Centre, across the street.
