“A bit of olde england”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2012

Interesting shops, food. Stick your nose in the cigar store, have a treat in Murchies or Rogers.

“Too many tacky tourist shops”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012

This is a great street to wander up and down if you don't get sucked into one of the many tacky tourist shops. Munro's Bookstore is a must visit as is the Irish Linen Shop.

“WOW a great street to people watch, shop and eat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2011

One of the most charming main streets in Canada with shops, bars, reataurants, coffee shops - highlights Munroe's bookshop, Murchie's teas and Roger's Chocolates. Beautifully lit at night. Safe to walk too.

“Touristy, but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2011

Three stars only because of Monro's bookstore (absolutely tops) and Murchie's Tea Store (excellent tea and I'm very dependent on their Canadian blend coffee). Not thrilled with their food, however. Otherwise the street is only for the least sensitive tourist-types.
