“A Real Gem”

The Beaconsfield Inn is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast walking distance to downtown Victoria. Each room is tastefully decorated and the managers Gary and Warren provide a warm, friendly atmosphere. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious. They provided cookies and tea each afternoon and sherry in the evenings in the charming library. You do need to be able to climb stairs, but it is definitely worth it. We stayed in the Duchess Suite which was quite large with a fireplace. Next time we would like to stay in the room on the main floor. We peeked in and it was gorgeous.

This was a very special trip for me, this was the first time for me to see the ocean, and to ride on a large ferry. We were treated to a 5 night stay at the Inn from a wonderful friend for our 25 wedding anniversary. We were treated to the Beaconsfield Suite. It was so big and beautiful. We enjoyed all the Inn offered from coffee in the early morning to the Sherry hour to the cookies and chocolates in the evenings. Now the breakfasts were not your ordinary eggs and bacon, they were creative and delicious. Gary and Warren the Inn Keepers treated us like royalty and answered all of our questions. The Inn is walking distance from the inner harbor and so much more. This place was magical for us and it made this milestone in our life so much more special. I will stay there again in a heart beat.

As soon as we walked into the house I knew we were in for a special treat. This place is lovely and historical, like stepping back in time. The dark woods, fireplaces, den/library, beautiful old piano and other furniture, creaky (but solid!) staircase, lovely place settings -- I just loved it all. And the breakfasts were fantastic --beautifully presented and delicious. We went for an anniversary celebration and were delighted with the surprise bottle of bubbly in our room! Gary recommended The Beagle just a few short blocks away for creole wings, and they were the best! The house is in a great location for walking to lots of things. We would definitely recommend Beaconsfield Inn.

Room Tip: We chose the Veranda Room. It didn't have a sitting area like some other rooms but it was perfec...

We were treated to the most fantastic breakfast specials during our 3 days at Beaconsfield Inn.
... and this was like "icing on the cake" for the Inn is most comfortable, the hosts (Warren & Gary) were top notch and the historic home is ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood in DT Victoria.

Would not hesitate to stay there again. You will thoroughly enjoy the rooms, the library which is well stocked with books and an assortment of afternoon teas.

Our recent trip to Victoria was unbeleivable and the Beaconsfiel Inn made it that way. The charm and warmth of the Inn gave us a home away from home feel. Plus, the breakfasts were to die for!
The Inn Keepers, Gary and Warren were helpful, professional and kind. Their extra touch on making sure we were looked after added to our memories of a fantastic weekend we will never forget. We will definitely be making Beaconsfield a regular stop every year.

A recent trip to Victoria had us enjoying all this beautiful city offers but the highlight was our stay in the beautiful Beaconsfield Inn. The Inn Keepers Gary and Warren deftly handled requests, provided information on local attractions and made reservations for us. Fabulous service by two people who love what they do. Our room offered every comfort we needed (great beds, an array of ammenities). Tea and fresh cookies at 3:00 p.m., a sip of sherry in the library at 7:00 p.m. and a fabulous breakfast had us wishing we could stay longer. the location can't be beat; just minutes from all sorts of things to see and do. We will be back!

Room Tip: Be sure to let them know if you prefer not to have goose down pillows or a feather bed. This Inn is...

It was such a pleasure to meet the 4 of you during your recent visit to beautiful Victoria. We are happy to hear that you felt at home while you stayed with us.
Our library is a great place to relax and enjoy the 16+ flavours of tea we offer, and to meet other guests while you sip a glass of our cream sherry.
There is no shortage of things to do in Victoria, and you experienced, just minutes from downtown.
We definitely look forward to hosting you again!!

Our recent trip to Victoria was complete by having the opportunity to stay at the Beaconsfield Inn. From the cozy room to the delicious breakfasts, there was no expense spared. We felt that we were part of a family there. Being away from our own family made this a very positive relationship. Warren and Gary couldn't do enough to make our stay special. They were both very aware of our needs and made sure they were met. I have no problem recommending this Inn to anyone. Lori Russell

Room Tip: Our room could sleep 4. What a value. Also close to downtown.

You were such fun, and it was great to share stories about your day exploring Victoria.
