“A must for any single malt drinkers and/or sports fans”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

My friend has a personal collection of 160 bottles of single malt scotch and still found some, on the menu, that he hadn't tried. We were both very pleased with our food choices. We made reservations and were given a private banguette along the side, off the main isle, with our own TV.

“POOR COBB SALAD”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

Nice interior, lovely place to sit, great service, but woefully poor food unless you order burgers or fries. The Cobb Salad is made up of a plate full of lettuce, tiny pieces of egg, tiny tiny bacon, minuscule blue cheese and oddest of all a bright pink sinthetic dressing. Truly abysmal.

“Gorgeous interior, cute al fresco seating, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Four of us had both wine and beer in the afternoon one day (al fresco) and dinner inside the next at this Scottish pub (our friends are Scots). I had a good lamb burger, salad (fairly good) and a beer. The interior of the restaurant is amazing -- lots of polished brass and gleaming wood. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices are average for Victoria. The location is great -- right smack in the middle of the downtown area.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

My wife and I spent part of an afternoon enjoying delicious food and various great brews. The wait staff was exceptional, making sure we were well attended to. We will definately be stopping back on our next visit to Victoria.

“Wonderful atmosphere & enjoyable food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Interesting history to this old bank building and the furnishings there now are great. Very busy and still had good service. The fish sandwich was good, the side salad great, the oysters good (the fresh horseradish was great and bitey.), and the chowder special was tasty. Looks like a great choice of beer and other alcohol, and the sticky pudding was a nice finish. An interesting, attractive and fun atmosphere. Enjoy!
