Thai food has this reputation of being a street food that is cooked hot, served fast, and satisfies without overpowering your appetite. Looks like all the boxes are filled on this checklist.
Service: Walked in without reservations. No problems. Was given an early-bird special menu on top of the regular one. Drinks are filled fast. Plates are arriving at the right pace. The waiter is in the zone.
Spring rolls x2. $5.25. Excellent. Crisp, crunchy and tasty.
Tofu delight. $8.95. Deep-fried tampura style. Average.
Tofu without any spicing is well... bland. And the secret to tampura is the batter.
Pad see-iew with chicken. $12.5. Fat rice noodles come in a deep square dish. Sauce is good. Portion is generous enough for a carbo-load dinner.
Thai iced tea. Fresh summer drink is topped off with a thumb-sized layer of cream. Excellent.
No disappointment. Generous portions. Not spicy at all. BYO sriracha bottle.
