“great little pub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

Great beer! Enjoyed Stanley Park Amber - went back for more, bought some... very good! Food and service were excellent. Background music at a decent level. Enjoyed the window seat watching the world go by -- hot cars!! Came back a second time with company. They enjoyed it all as well. Especially the Caesars. Nice little surprise in a desert of business buildings.

“Great ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

The pub area is comfortable and great for watching the game. The menu is upscale for a pub. The location is prime for downtown.

“Delightful! Casual, contemporary dining. Great Food and Service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Joey's was recommended by the Concierge at the Sutton Place Hotel (directly across the street) for a casual but very good place to eat. A great choice! Decor is simple yet elegant. Staff are friendly and efficient, and the wait to be seated was reasonably short . A sample of the daily house wine selection was offered while we waited, which we liked enough to have with our dinner. Atmosphere is relaxed and the menu selections are varied and creative. Service was great and dinner was superb. The total experience was delightful. Highly recommended!

“Worth a try”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

Fun local bar.
We were bar hopping & this was our favorite stop.
The service was superb.
The bartender "Sam" made good recommendations on local beers & was genuinely engaged throughout.
We only had the lava cake & ice cream desert & it was delicious.

“unusual service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

Big open dining space & my seafood dish was exceptional. However I was less impressed with the drinks & I thought their service was very unusual. Ice is very thin & waters down the drink quick. A friends mojito was poor and manhattan rocks didnt turn out well.
We had a series of different female servers where one took drinks one took food one brought brought food one brought drinks and none of them really knew what was going on with us the customers and amongst them as servers. We felt interrupted constantly by having different servers approach us for different orders. They gave us our first round of drinks for free because they felt they left us waiting too long for them which we didn't. Very odd I thought and I wasnt overly impressed.
