My partner and I ended up here after breezing through a hotel magazine for ideas on where to dine. We almost ate at Kobe Village Steakhouse, so glad we didn't! It was a Thursday night and this cozy place was hopping. In spite of its business, we didn't wait at all for a seat, we sat right down at the bar and watched the show.
The chefs and waitstaff obviouly enjoy their jobs and they make it fun. This is not the place to come for a quiet romantic meal, it's all about the show, calling out orders, saying goodbye to every guest at they leave and so on. It reminded me a lot of the fish throwing gus at Pike Place Market in Seattle, if you've been there, I don't have to explain.
I think some people had mentioned not going if you are hungry as portions are small, well it is a Japanese style tapas restaurant, so yes, most of the dishes are small. However we stuff ourselves, one little girl and one bug guy, and spent less than $50, including a few drinks each. This was a steal!
Highly recommend this restaurant for the whole experience, the food, the service and the ambiance!
