“So good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Went here with some old friends for a nice night out on the town. Food and service were excellent. All of us were more than satisfied with our meals (Steak and seafood choices). Very happening and busy place which made it kinda loud, so it wasn't the best for a quiet romantic venue if that's what you're wanting, but it was otherwise a delicious, wonderful night. There are a couple of Keg locations in town, and we ate at two of them during our stay!

“The food was fabulous, and the wait staff was beyond great !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2013

The Keg was originally just a place for us to catch the first period of the Patriots football game and grab a quick snack at the same time. Little did we know that it would be an awesome dining experience. This place is conveniently located in a busy shopping area of Vancouver. Everything was prepared expertly and served hot from the kitchen by the friendly wait staff. Our glasses were never empty as we were never rushed through our meal. We were able to watch our favorite team on the big screen and cheer them on to victory, while enjoying this fun establishment.

“Consistency at The Keg”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

I haven't eaten at The Keg in probably 10 years but went last night with three others. It was much as I remembered it: good tasting beef offered in a variety of preparations. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid the $25 corkage fee, well worth it considering the quality of the wine we brought. I indulged in a Misty Haze cocktail - a very nice concoction of pineapple, mango puree and rum. The Keg Caesar salad is still great but would have been tastier with parmesan reggiano instead of a plain parmesan. I ordered the prime rib well done and while I know chefs do not like to cook beef that way, I found my meat drier than usual. The piece was also very thin so that would have contributed to the dryness. The server, Jamie, was fabulous. He was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Tables are not crowded together so you enjoy some privacy. The restaurant was full but there were no delays in food or drinks. All in all, a nice meal and a nice evening.

“Steaks Always Consistently Cooked The Way You Want It.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

I have never been disappointed over 30 odd years at a Keg Restaurant.

Using their formula of exact timing and temperature, I have never had a steak that was underdone or overdone - always medium rare the way I prefer.

Pricing is competitive. Restaurants are large, usually packed and can be a bit noisy, but very pleasant, clean and good serving staff.

Highly recommended.
