“Great value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

We had walked by this place many times but never went in until last week. Very large open room with an extensive menu. Don't come here for the atmosphere or polished service. But the items we ordered were really good and what we thought was very reasonable. Large portions. Not fine dining, but a great stop for lunch or casual dinner.

“it hasnt changed except the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Agree with other reviewer since i havent eaten here in a decade too. Menu was almost the same. It is still good fare especially since you arent in richmond, china i mean the delta. Its comfort food in a typicall chinatown eatery. But i didnt go back.

“Never Again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

If you are a tourist and wants to experience a good vacation in Vancouver, DO NOT dine at this place. The servers will wreck your day and you will think that everyone in this city is rude. The rice was half cooked and when we told the server about it, she actually picked it up with her fingers and put it in her mouth. Some of it dropped on her shirt....it was quite a shocking experience. She then told us that some people complaint that it's too wet so they cook it this way. I told her that it's not dry; it's UNCOOKED. She took it away and brought us another bowl. HAHAHA

“An old haunt”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

It's been over a decade since I ate at Hon's. I am a happy to say that the food has remained fairly consistent from memory. The dim sum is a little expensive to order, but still good for a fix. The siu mai were pretty big dumplings topped with masago. The potstickers were as I remembered them - flat in shape with a decent pan-fried wrapper though the vinegar it was served with was weak. The chicken feet were more spicy than sweet which made for a good nosh. The beef rice noodle roll was good. Everything was served piping hot. A soup noodle lacked flavour in the noodles.

“Adequate Chinese Fare”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Although the food was just average Chinese fare, the service was good and the price was right. There are plenty of tables, and the atmosphere is low-key.
