“Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

Enjoyed the full flight of 7 beers tasting menu. All were decent. The pale ale and IPA were good. My wife got the mussels, I had the fish and chips and we split patatas bravas. All the food was very very good. The bravas also had two skewers of chorizo which were tasty. Kid friendly place too with a kid menu etc. The service was friendly and attentive.

“Not a bad pub”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

My girlfriend and I as well as her parents met at this establishment for a little late dinner and a few beers. The food was good, but nothing to be overly excited about, and the beer was average. I travel europe often, and certianly consider myself well versed in beers, and there was nothing amazing about this place or the beer being served. It seemed the like standard craft brewery setup as most places in BC seem to be. It had aspects of a dining restaurant, but was very loud and upbeat like a pub. It felt like they needed to stick with one or the other and not the amalgamation that it was. The price was a little steep for what was served, and the service did take longer than what I consider the norm. Overall it was an average place, worth hitting if you like trying new places, but not somewhere that I would make a special trip for.

“Processed not served...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

The usual applied, bar or restaurant to be seated?
We chose the restaurant, sat down and were greeted and given menus. Ordered up a pulled pork sandwich which looked once it arrived like it had been put through a blender. The so called massive onion rings came with it, and were stone cold (which oddly enough, was not part of the description on the menu).
My partner felt the same as we were eating. Then, once we had been given the bill and as we left could see members of staff stood at the serving hatch in the restaurant eating from it!!!!!!!
Make your own decisions about The Brewing Company, seems like the staff drink there while working...oh and eat there while working too.

“Best pub food in awhile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Ate in the bar, maybe a bit of a mistake cause it's dark and noisy. But hockey was on all the tv's, so had to accommodate the hubby. Fab beef sliders with the best BBQ sauce we've ever had-not strong and not too sweet. Great potato wedges sitting in an incredible bacony sour creamy sauce. And the DUCK confit pizza with blue cheese, walnuts, cranberries and arugula? Perfection. We ate it all and weren't going to. There are only 3 sliders, so buy an extra if there are 2 of you and you're sharing. But the pizza was a great size. The other side of the restaurant looked very nice. Kinda happy I didn't eat there cause the darkness covered the dripping sauces and the shoving into the mouths that took place in our seats.

“Great pub food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

This was a good option as it served the typical food I was expecting such as burgers, ribs etc, but also steaks, fish, short ribs etc, with the latter choice the one I opted for and did not fail to disappoint, the meat was fantastic served with creamy mash. The choice of beers were good and it was nice to try something local.
As this was a Saturday night the restaurant was on the noisy side so we did go elsewhere for drinks afterwards but this did not stop us from enjoying the meal.
Our concierge managed to book us table which is a must as people were just turning up and giving tables to an outside covered area which suited some but other just refused as it was cold and raining outside so I would definitely recommend to book.
