“Food for plebs, but the setting is kitsch central which I love”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

This location of the Old Spaghetti Factory is in stylish and touristy gastown in downtown Vancouver. For those that have been to a location near you, the environment is the same. Trolley car, Victorian lighting, and metalwork. Old Spaghetti Factory was doing this kitsch before TGIFriday's, and has kept it after TGIFriday's has all but redone their locations.

Great for kids, the multi-course menu is the same as it was when I was kid (but with gluten free pasta now). Quality isn't great even for a chain, but the experience is what you are coming here for vs. haute cuisine. Service is super friendly and fast.

“Good service average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

Interesting atmosphere, probably was asked at least 10-12 times if the food was ok, quite annoying actually. Food wasn't bad but nothing special reasonably priced good service.

“Ok, but just”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

The decor and and atmosphere is pretty good. The waitress was nice and the seevice was good but the food was average at best. Chicken parm was dry and tough. We hadn't been to an OSF before and knew it would be "chain Italian" but were not prepared for the poor quality food and very limited wine list.

“Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

The food here is superb, its in Gastown which is a main street in vancouver,When you order a main course you get a starter of which you get a choice of soup or salad ,a bloomer loaf, and ice cream for dessert all free, this we would recommend to everyone but be warned it was packed every night so be prepared to wait for a table but well worth waiting for, superb food and superb staff all very pleasant.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

“A little touristy but great food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

You can tell that this is a tourist restaurant but the food was great, and service was excellent. We had a variety of foods from sandwiches to pizza to pasta and everyone enjoyed their selection. Prices were good too.
