“Great lunch on a rainy day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

We were staying at the Hyatt and had a coupon so decided to try this place for lunch. We had a burger and cobb salad. Both were excellent. The service was awesome also. I would definitely go back even without a coupon!!! We had a great table right by the window.

“Apps and sides build up to disappointing steaks”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Scallop chowder was piquant, smoky, and loaded with shellfish. Beet salad on a bed of weird but delicious whipped goat cheese was more ethereal than earthy, which is tough with the quintessential root vegetable. Potato croquettes were splendidly brown and crunchy. Even the bread, an interesting light, biscuit-y creation, was special in a good way. Then I sawed into my filet. Uh oh. Tough, fatty, with more gristle than a filet should ever be burdened with. Maybe something bad happened with the meat delivery. How else to explain such great apps and sides and such a poor protein? Is the chef's budget inadequate? You might be okay if you order the braised short ribs--beause the problem with this kitchen isn't artistry--on this night it was the quality of the raw product. They could not have been nicer about it, though, and my guess is that they will address this.

“Romantic Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. Our server was friendly and funny. He was from Germany and interesting to talk to. We had the trout and short ribs. Both were amazing. They gave us a complimentary dessert which was a nice touch.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012 via mobile

Took colleagues for lunch. The venue gets very loud and the sever was completely overwhelmed by the number of tables he had. The food was fine - and if you venture, try the homemade chocolate cake.

“Buffet was excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2012

the buffet was part of our room and was the only meal we needed for the day! smoked salmon, made-to-order omelets, anything you wanted to eat, amazing!

Also we had dinner one rainy night and the food was really good; even better when the host comp'd our meal and threw in a bottle of champagne for our 10-yr anniversary!
