Came to CinCin based on a friend's recommendation. Had a panchetta and radicchio salad to start, it was light, fresh, and tasty. Good start. My wife had calamari, she enjoyed the wood-grilled method of preparation, but found the dish pretty bland. Main course was rigatoni alla bolognese. It was good but not great. For dessert we each ordered the tiramisu and found the espresso to be waaay too overpowering. It dominated the other ingredients to the detriment of the dish.
Nothing was necessarily bad about our visit. The service was excellent, very friendly and prompt. But the food was underwhelming, especially compared to the price. We drive into Vancouver for a night out once a month, and it will be a while before we visit CinCin again. Perhaps if we lived closer we would give it another shot. But the bolognese at La Terrazza is definitely much better, and Italian Kitchen and Il Giardino both offer stiff competition overall.
