My friends and I wanted to go out to Yaletown in Vancouver and grab a bit to eat; something casual, not too expensive / fancy. Yaletown Brewery seemed like a great choice. They had a special that night - 2 for 1 pizzas (and really good pizzas at that). I ordered a pale ale off their beer list; it was very good. It took a while to order because our waiter was always whizzing by our table. About an hour after we sit down, we finally get our food. All in all, 2 pizzas, 2 beers, and an entree. An hour later, we finally find someone to ask for our bill. When the bill comes, it's not split correctly, one of the bills has already been paid in cash and doesn't belong to us, and a pizza is missing. Thinking we were being nice, we flagged down our waiter and explained the discrepencies. He then proceeds to tell us that we should have just kept the bills as is and split it among ourselves. Excuse me? You're trying to blame us for not fixing your error??? Not happy. An otherwise great meal was ruined by a cocky server with no idea how to serve.
