I'd never had Himalayan food and was eager to try this place out. I was not disappointed in any way. The ambiance is relaxed and very pleasant. Both times we ate here the service was friendly and competent. The food is very good. I loved the goat pickle (a kind of curry), the sautéed greens. The fish stew is amazingly good as well. The spices used are similar to Indian cuisine (coriander, cumin, turmeric, etc), but not overwhelming - the individual spices are easier to recognize - and flavors are complex and satisfying. ingredients are fresh and local. There's also a nice selection of local micro-brew beer on tap. Definitely recommend.
