“great food, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

I'd never had Himalayan food and was eager to try this place out. I was not disappointed in any way. The ambiance is relaxed and very pleasant. Both times we ate here the service was friendly and competent. The food is very good. I loved the goat pickle (a kind of curry), the sautéed greens. The fish stew is amazingly good as well. The spices used are similar to Indian cuisine (coriander, cumin, turmeric, etc), but not overwhelming - the individual spices are easier to recognize - and flavors are complex and satisfying. ingredients are fresh and local. There's also a nice selection of local micro-brew beer on tap. Definitely recommend.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

One of the best place to find Himalayan food. We loved this place. Food is awesome and affordable price. My partner was hesitating at first but it was an amazing experience for him. I loved their momo's (dumplings) and enjoyed their curry's. Service was good, they were very busy but everything was on time. I have no disappointment and can say it's one of the fine place where u can find Amassing Nepalese food. I would definitely recommend people to go try their dumplings Will never miss to visit this place if i go to vancouver again.

“Wonderful taste experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

We were a group of 4. We shared several small plates and mains. The duck appy, fish masala. and noodles, in particular were first class. Good selection of local micro beers. The wine mark up is far more civilized than average for Vancouver. Service was attentive but not rushed and the price far more reasonable than many Vancouver establishments.

“Out of the world!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

Went to this restaurant due to our groupon discount. Had a lot of hesitation due to couple of, negative (I must say weirdo) reviews on this place. Me and my husband were somewhat cautious and had our backup plans. However, needless to say that the experience was beyond A+. The interior is a work in progress but the food quality and service makes up completely for it. We got served with amazing food (we had yak momo for appie and yum they were great... jackfruit curry and chicken dish for meal) and the server dude was really nice to us. He was attentive while without being interruptive.
We are just so glad that we visited this place. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our friends.
